Title: My 15 Gallon Fish
Description: Need help

I have a overcrowded 15 gallon tank. Right now it has 3 guppies, 2 rams, 1 pleco, 1 rainbow shark, 3 neon tetras, 3 black skirt tetras, 3 bronze cories, and 5 fry guppies in a net breeder. Im planning on giving away some of my fish. I was thinking of giving away the 8 guppies, 3 black skirts, and im putting the 3 neons in my other tank. I will eventually get a 30 gallon for the pleco because he is still small. It may seem like a strange assortment but they get along fine. Im going to add 3 zebra danios for top motion. The filter and the heater is good for up to 30 gallons so that is good. What should i add to my 30 gallon?

That's really up to you as far as what kinds of fish you like that are compatible with the fish that you keep, what fish your local store has, and what kind of water (pH, hardness, etc.) that you have. There are too many choices for me to list them all.

My water is soft and my water is 6.8. I would also like to add to the 30 gallon rosy barbs, or Tiger barbs. I want to add about 7 tiger barbs or 3 Rosy barbs. I will add maybe 2 more cories of a different species that can live with the barbs. my only concern with the tiger barbs is with that they might nip at my rams. My rams are also young at about 1.5 inches going on 2.

I've never had rams but I think they can handle themselves with tiger barbs. I've read that the more tiger barbs that you have, the less likely they are to chase or bother other fish. Since your water is soft, most of the tetras, danios, barbs, and other South American fish will like it.

since the rams are small i would either wait to get the barbs till the rams are full grown or buy smaller barbs.

i think i should get the rosy barbs. I wouldnt like my $10.00 fish getting nipped at by a tiger barbs!
