Title: Ideas For A New 30 Gallon.

im planning on upgrading my 15 gallon to a 30 gallon because i have 2 growing fish. I will be giving away most of my fish and will be left with 1 pleco, 1 rainbow shark, 2 rams, and 3 bronze cories. I would like to know what fish are compatible with these. I was thinking danios, gold barbs, rosy barbs, and a dojo loach. I know the fish will get bigger so in a few years i will get a larger tank. I would also like to know how many i should add because i dont want to overpopulate my tank again.

I think you've asked similiar questions already. As far as compatibility, I don't see any major problems. The rams or shark might bother the smaller danios. How many fish you get depends on many variables. I would advise you to start with your original fish and slowly add one additional species of fish at a time. This gives the good bacteria time to adjust and grow and time for you to see how the fish get along.

thanks for your advice. I may go for 4 gold barbs and 2 rosy barbs.

would 7 tiger barbs be okay instead of gold and rosy barbs? I like aggresive fishies. :)

Tiger barbs should be okay with your other fish. They can probably hold their own. Tiger barbs are less aggressive when they are in larger groups. If they have lots of their own species to pester, they are actually pretty well behaved from what I've read.

im still conserered that the tiger barbs will bother the rams.
