My painted turtle is laying eggs what should i do? How should i set up an apropriate space for her to lay her eggs using limited resources such as a rubbermaid container, rocks, dirt, and a little bit of sand? I am able to go buy things that are needed depending on the price($10.00 and under) and the location of the store or wherever i need to get it. :D

I assume that she is inside in an aquarium? You can use a small rubbermaid container and fill it with sterile sand, sphagnum moss, dirt, etc. or a mix of those things. See what she likes and what works. The container should be at least twice her size and 3 to 6" deep with stuff to dig into. Is she alone or do you have a male? If there's no male around, the eggs aren't fertile so adding the land/dirt area would just be to make her more comfortable. If the eggs are fertile, then it's necessary if you want babies.
