I was just wondering if anyone was interested in doing a Christmas card exchange?
If there is enough interest then we could all put in our snail mail addies and send cards to everyone who is on the list. Every person who submits an addy will receive cards from everyone else on the list who has submitted their addy.

As soon as we get to about 10 we'll start posting our snail mail addies. I think we should set a cut off date for posting an addie, that way we'll all have enough time to send out all the cards in time for X-mas!

Not to be a party pooper but please do not post your addresses on the board. It is highly dangerous and the spammers will have a field day with them. Please PM your info. You should never post any personal info on the internet unless you are absolutely sure it is a safe and secure site. Although we do everything in our power to make sure our site is safe, please remember that this is a public board and we can't be sure that everyone is who they say they are.

On that note, please be careful about who or where you give your personal info to.

ithink we should pm our email addies and then they can email there address what do u think cos thats wat we r doing on my msn group emailing our addresses to peeps that want to send xmas cards out

I think we should pm you are addresses and you then email everyone who wants to do it with the other persons addresses.

Sounds Good...should we set a cut off date for when the addies can be sent in? How about the end of November? That'll leave 3 weeks to get them to the recipients in time...or should we go a bit earlier?

The best way to do it is set a date for you recieving the addresses and then give them a date for you sending them new addresses. Send out another date for the cards to be sent out for .Does that sound ok

1. Send all your snail mail addies to me by Nov 25/04 (email)
write it like this:

Envelope - First Name, Last Name
###, Street
etc....

Greeting Card: To Him & Her
& ________ ______ etc.... (children, pets, etc...)
Any special message that you specifically want on your card...

2. I will send a list of all addies to all the emails I get by Nov 30/04

3. Please have all cards in the mail by December 6/04

* You'll have plenty of time now to get enough cards together *

I hope you ladies have set up your addresses correctly for me as I have no way of knowing if the town name, country or postal code is incomplete. If you need to revise it please PM and I will make the changes on the Exchange list.
