:hi: does anyone know about cholestrol i have been told my doctor today i have high cholestrol but she wants to get my thyroid sorted out first

well jean thyroid and cholestrol are connect IF they get your thyroid sorted then you can work on the cholestrol after , having a thyroid problem is more dangerous than your cholestrol , have you got a over or under active thyroid and what are they doing about it ?

:hi: i have under active thyroid and I am tablets I go back to doctor 2 months and have another blood test and she will see how it is I have had an ultra scan the doctor that done the scan said I have mild hashimoto's thyroiditis

oh jean they deffenlty need to sort the thyroid out first can lead to big problem if left untreated, just a though but health shops sell a hebal med called alfa alfa which bring your cholestrol down if your worried about that

:ok: thanks caren I'll have a look my mum had over active thyroid whe I was young she kept forgetting to take her tablets so they toperated and took her thyroid out

and my mum is still going today

Hows your mum jean does she take tablets now for it they took to much of mine nows its under and a pain
