I have found a lump in the bottom left corner of my right breast, its quite hard...about the size of a penny and I am really starting to panic!! Has anyone else ever found a lump in their breast & what was the outcome! I have just been doing some research on the internet and apparently under 25 there is only 1 in 15000 chance of having breast cancer! What do I do? Leave it and see if it goes as it could be due to hormonal changes or get my butt to the doctor asap!

What do I do next?

Hi. It is so scarey when you find a lump. Odds are it's just a fatty tissue deposit or just a benign cyst but no matter what and for your peace of mind get your butt into the doctor and have him check it out.

It is always better to be safe than sorry. I would much rather be patted on the head and sent on my way than to be yelled at by the doc for leaving it too long!!

It's best to get it checked, could be just a cyst or something. Does it hurt?
