did anyone feel that they was treat different to others at the hospital when u had ur baby?

cos i did i wasnt married an was a teen i felt that the midwifes disapproved of me not all of them but most of them i just wonderd if it was just me. cos my son was poorly when born cos of blood groups etc and they never told me what was wrong they use to talk to my mum when she came in which upset me cos hes my baby they never explaned to me what was happing going on etc

did anyone eles feel uncovterball

yes i had dat problem even if me n my mum go for a wlk wif my son ppl wud ask my mum wat age he is but my mum doesnt answer she ignores them n lets me answer. its really annoying ye feel like screamin at them hes my baby. the midwife used to give me weird looks n all i cried da whole time i was in hospital.

yer it was it really upset me id cry just wanting to go home.
but i do thnk an feel that as a young mum were judged different to other people who have kids dont u agree

yhi get judged when i walk dwn the street with a triplets pram all the dirty look i feel like a piece iof dirt sometomes

i know what u mean we get so steryo typed as if were sluts or something cos were young mums just cos were young dont mean were not good mums were just as good as some one in there 30s

i kno n it def dnt mean were sluts ppl jus assume too much i got pregnant wen i was 16 i had been wif my bf for 5 months n slept wif him for the first time den i got pregnant after da 3rd time

no sorry kerry i had 2 really nice midwives when i had caitlin i had not long turned 18 when i had her i was dreading goin in hospital in case i had some stuck up one who would treat me as if i was a stupid teenager for gettin pregnant but i guess i was lucky

yeah i know sometimes i am so down i have to cry myself to sleep thinking i am a dirty slut but inside i no i should have not got pregnant at 15 and i was stupid but i wuld not change it 4 the world!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, i did. I was only 13 when i had my first son, Ryan. I felt that the people in the hospital looked down their noses at me.

my cousin got court preg at 13 she done ok 4 herself she dont regreat it .i was ok in hospital every1 was nice and helped

Yeah, I was 13 too. I found out at 12 which was kind of VERY scary. Don't regret it but it seemed like there was always someone in the room. It is more dangrous for a younger person (teenager) then for a 20 sum year old to give birth.

no they were all good to me,i had no idea how to handle a baby but they showed me what was what so i had no prob apart from when was in labour 1 of the midwifes were sowing lol,other than that it was great was scared at first but fine after just shaky
