GROSS MOTOR
Can your child:
Run Steadily
Squat and then rise without using hands.
Walk up and down stairs - two feet to a step
Throw a smal ball overhand without falling
Pull a toy by a cord
Tricycle - move forward using feet, but not pedal
VISION AND FINE MOVEMENTS

Build a tower of six or seven cubes
Pick up tiny objects accurately and quickly
Produce spontaneous circular scribble
Turns pages singurlarly in a book
Have you a family history or do you have any concerns about squints
HEARING AND SPEECH

Use about 50 words and understand more
Put two words together in a sentance
Echolalia (repeating words or phrases heard)
Name some body parts
Follow simple instructions
Respond to his/her own name
Have you any concerns about your child's hearing
SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR AND PLAY

Is your child active and interested
Can your child use a spoon
Uses a cup, spilling little
Helps with getting dressed and undressed
Engages in imaginary play
Plays alongside other children, takes turns
Tantrums when frustrated or when trying to make self understood
Is your child having any problems with eating or sleeping.
please remember that if you haven't yet put your child's name down for a nursery/playgroup then you need to think about doing this.
