For those that don't know, one of my 10wk old bunnies has injured himself over the weekend and can't walk. He can't sit up and crawls along to get to places, has been eating and drinking, pooping etc.
Have been to the vets, she felt him over couldn't really feel for anything, has given him an anti flamitory injection to see if he has any swelling causing it. She definately says he has injured himself somehow but can't tell properly unless the jab works and the swelling starts to go down and he is able to sit upright, if not she is gonna give him an x ray in the morning. Gonna be an expensive bunny this cos todays treatment cost £26.67 and for the xray tomorrow it will be £65.89. She pinched his feet and there was movement which looks good she says and he is eating and drinking and pooping etc so that looks good. He could have ran into something and badly bruised himself if that's the case he should be in sitting up position tomorrow and won't need the xray so she will just treat him with anti flamitary jabs. If he isn't standing up then an xray to see what is going on. If it comes back as something serious and he won't be able to walk again i have to discuss whether to have him put to sleep.

aww so sorry to hear that Trace, those fees are so expensive.

How is the baby today

They decided not to give him an xray, i think the vet is thinking there is not alot of hope for this little guy. She saw slight improvement but not the improvement she hoped to see. She has given him another antiflamitory jab to last till Friday and if there is no improvement she says the best thing to do would to put him asleep.
