Hello Everyone

I just wanted to formally invite all of you to a party this Saturday celebrating 2 years of SPG and the city of Mirage! It promises to be a very special event, starting with the party and progressing to a surprise that will continue the next night!

You MUST attend the party “ON LEAVE” -- at about 9PM the big part of the event will start and if you are not on leave it will mess things up a bit.

I’ve arranged (with the help of the DEVS) for the city of Mirage to be “captured”, and if you not are on leave they will attack right away, and the next part won’t get to play out correctly. Also, for this to progress well and lead into the next nights event, everyone will need to play along with the “capture” until Mayor Fish’head give to word, at which point everyone will hit the recruiters and we get to recapture the city for the Alliance! Also, be sure NOT to be Special Ops, as it may invite unwanted combat (which interfered with the last event we had).

Without giving too much away, when I say “pretend you are captured” I really need for everyone to be a bit subdued at this point, so that the groundwork can be laid for the whole event.

And, in addition, the events on Saturday will continue on Sunday night (at 9PM EST) in Mirage (though this may have to be changed later, if it does, I’ll make sure everyone gets the word).

This all promises to be a really cool event, and a great way to celebrate both Mirage and SPG turning 2. You don’t need to make both events, if you can only make one, please do so (although trust me, you’ll want to beg, borrow, or steal a night off to make both nights!) I hope you can all come out and have fun!

This whole event, even with the confusion that we started with on the second night, turned out far better than I expected.

I think that's due to all the hard work done on everyone's part.

I know Fish wore himself out setting things up and making sure there was plenty to do, which left me free to take care of other arrangements.

And of course all the entertainers that showed helped, too. Especially the cute zabrak :P

I'm glad everyone had a good time. I'm not sure I could top it, but that won't stop me from trying!
