For some reason my computer will only let me save pics as .art and .bmp
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

That's true. AOL has all kinds of bugs and stuff that effect stuff outside the internet. (of course so does MSN a little)
It may not be AOL that is causing this though. It could just be a bug with your computer. What happens when you try saving images as something else?

When I used IE it worked fine. So I think it might just be AOL.

to me it happens on both browsers

Well, ya are right sayin AOL browser sucks at savin those type of images, but there's also a lil prob to be solved when ya wanna save 'em usin IExplore or MSN Explorer, or even Netscape.
Sometimes the prob gets solved when ya download the patches for IExplore or even for Win9x, but if ya can't get it solved, then return to your MSOffice installation (this usually works with Office 2000), and select Personalized installation. There ya will see what ya wanna install. Then, it appears the option "Install IMAGE filters", where comes included filters to open JPEG files, GIF files, and other types. Select complete installation and then, voila! Your OS is now able to open those images and able to save 'em!
