anyone want to tell whats so bad about hip-hop/rap just tell me how you feel. Im a hip-hop head for real let it be known how you feel.

I for one don't like it much. It just doesn't seem very musically oriented (most rap at least) and sometimes just sounds like people mumbling. It can also be really gross sometimes.

some of the reasons i dont like it

talks about rape, murder, drugs, etc... there probly is a group out there that doesnt but *shrugs* i havent heard any...

it makes people sound illiterate when they try to talk like rappers

i didnt grow up in 'da hood, yo' so i dont care what they went through... i want something that mildly applies to my life... in some cases.

it makes people dress like complete idiots... you can fit like 8 people in their pants and jacket... so.. retarded.

and others that i most likely will think of in a couple minutes.... if i offended anyone.... im not sorry.. *shrugs*

I like it.. But some songs. I hate most of it. Puertorrican rap(Reggetton) is even more vulgar, but I like some of the songs.

My girlfriend is a Rap, Reggetton, hip pop fan. So I have to stand it

i would have to second fairytale's opinions on this subject even though i do like a few (very few) songs.
i really hate anyone who thinks there tough just because the listen to rap and/or think they can rap.

i like a little bit of punk and a little bit of rock

but mostly i listen to anime and game soundtracks

im pretty open.. ill give anything a chance.. just as long as it isnt country or of the rap genre.

see what yall are talking about isn't hiphop its rap a part of hiphop. Hiphop is a Culture and yall should look it up before you start to talk about something you don't know anything about.

Ok got that off my chest im just saying you should look it up and educate your selfs about hiphop and learn about and not feed into the media hype that surounds it everytime a rapper gets shot.

To be honest..it depends on who you listen too.I only listen to Ashanti,Beyonce',Aaliyah and some other people.The lyrics also give off some negative feed then they also talk about sex and all.Which I really don't like.So I hardly listen to it...I'm more into Rock/Pop Rock/Techno/Old Bands*Queens*

yeah i've listened to rock and yeah there's a difference but some of the artiest have the same word play as some the rap artiest do.

don't get me started on lincon park, they suck almost as much as rap. anyway what i think he was saying that people who want to sing but can't resort to rap. as well i still place rock much higher then rap. it actually requires some skill

and what you think just anyone can come on and start rapping no. It requires skills too!

it requires a minute of thought to be a rapper, and years of training to be a singer is all i'm saying

that's not true some singers can't sing but the good ones have been trained and worked at it.
