My dad... just got his leg amputated last night... he got finned by a fish last september, and it never recovered.... The doctors said the next 48 hours are critical.... does anyone know how to cope? Do you have a parent that's been through this before?

Finned means stabbed by a fish's fin, and cope means to deal with. The puncture wound was deep and it got infected...

anyway sorry but i have no idea how to handle that you could always talk to the doctor about what you should do, that's all i can think of

first off, im sorry about your dad. my dad has a dead arm... well not literally, but he broke his humerous bone and now can barely lift 15 lbs.
the only thing i can really think about is try not to think about it too much. sorry i have no good advice on this :(
