does anyone have a good dvd ripper or a movie maker?
DVD ripper the best and hardest to use properly would be Alchohol 120%, I would nto recomend it to the fient of heart, if you want something easy use smart ripper I find it the easiest.
Movie making programs
The easiest Windows movie maker (if you are a rookie use this)
If you like learning how to make videos the wrong way (but I cant complain as it works extremely well, just teaches you very very bad habbits) then use adobe premire
If you want to learnhow to make videos with extreme precision use Vegas Video (This program will take weks just for you to figure out the basics, maybe a month to even begin your first video, if you are new to this stuff I would strongy recomnd using widows movie maker)
Also if you are making an AMV and think you can just rip and get to work, you are wrong, you will need to learn encoding, and all that other fun stuff, it will be a long drawn out process to someone that has no previous knowledge. I recomend scoping out animemusicvideos.org, if you have any questions (that do not pretain to encoding dvd's into somethign smaller without losing quality) then IM me, I can help with the basics however when it comes to encoding dvds I am still learning.
