I've seen one episode... it looks like it has potential

I was skeptical when it first aired. But I gave it a shot and sat down and watched it. I really like it. How Conan (Jimmy) can manage to put all the pieces of the crime together to find the perp is cool. Plus all those little neat gadgets that the professor gives to Conan to use are awesome!

Yes i like that one sort of well and its funny how the other father of the girl detective tries to put the crime together.... Well it looks like it was just a case of steal kill and run... OH wait it was the person who was in the same room with him or thats what it really was...

Well i will be the first to say i hate this show. I think it's sucks, and it's stupid, for little kids. Maybe thats cuz it's on adult swim but still...

Its just the solving of the cases that I like... Otherwise it gets sort of boring... The story line is a little dull but it just gives the mind a little bit of exitement trying to think of whats going to happen next...

In my oppinion this is the worst addition to Adult swims line up in a while (in the anime line up anyway). I really do not like this show at all. It seems very dull and unapealing to me. The shows animation is lack luster, the voices are bad. The story is so so at best. I would give it a fairly low score.

Well I sort of really have learned to apprieciate all animes/mangas though I may not like them I continue to watch/read them... Well except for ones like hamtaro damn i hate hamsters... NO ITS not Hamtaro time...

People the show is on Adult swim because of the murders and the Graphic showing of them. This might be a show that Adult swim may never finish airing because is still airing on Japan.

For a TV Show to have that Many episodes it needs to be really good in japan. it has over 3 movies as well.

Because a show has many episodes does not mean it is good. It means that 1) a large ammount of peopl like it or 2) it has people with alot of money suporting it. Your theroy is blown all to hell with this simple statement. Hellsing considered by a large number to be the greatest anime ever made has only 13 episodes. Pokemon considered by many anime fans to be the worst thing ever created that nearly ruined anime in america had alot of episodes.

Just because a show has alot of episodes does not mean it is goood. Inuyasha is still goin even though ratings are dropping. the dragonball series went on for what seemed like an eternitiy, one should also know that DBGT had one of the biggest rating drops in the history of anime (when compared to its predecesors DBZ and DB) however over 50 episodes were made. You cannot base everything on number of episodes.

I see in another thread you gave it a 10 and I will take that as your oppinion not a reviewers standoint because giving that show a 10 out of 10 from a reviewers stanpoint is an insult to everything I stand for.

Lastly just because you did not understand FLCL does not mean it is a bad show. The show is considered by allot of people (myself included) to be the best parody series ever made. The show is amazing all the jokes are a beautiful thing. The manga scenes are great the Lupin refrences never cease to crack me up. A wonderfuly done parody series

Yes this show by all means is the worst thing to come to adult swim, Besides Big 0, which to me is as retarted and lame as FLCL. Does not mean these shows are bad, i just think they are. Case closed in america sucks, i don't hear about anyone watching it. Inuyasha is pretty big, by no means as big as Dragon ball z was but it getting a bit big, i hear people like it, and i see people wearing shirts, and im in high school. Maybe that's y Inuyasha is continue, i truly love the series, i mean they rly should end it soon, but by all means i think the series was great, the movies are good aswell. Anyway back to Case closed, this show should be closed, it sucks, the end.

I have read mixed opinions about CC on the Adult Swim board, but they also have the ratings for that show posted and the ratings for it are steadily climbing. With their new scheduling changes for the week, they're going to keep CC, but I think I read that they were going to move it to a later time slot. I'll have to double check to make sure.

The more I surf thru the AS boards, the more discussion threads I find about CC. Although there are mixed opinions about the show, the majority of the group seems to really enjoy the show.


Although, I hope the survival rate of CC will last thru the later time slot they're planning on putting it in. :unsure:

What the hell are you talking about that is EXACTLY what adult swim was for. It played anime with less edits then any other block of programming in the united states at least on basic cable) I remmeber back in the day watching bebop, yu yu hakusho, and pilot candidate on adult swim I could not belive how much better some of the shows were without all the edits. Granted it cannot be purely uncut but you have to give AS its props.

Ty gen, and it was for unedited shows, it's good don't get me wrong, i like inuyasha and cowboy but i mean case closed is a show they should have looked at and said o this is crap. I mean they could put on shows like, excolfona(can't spell for life) and samurai deeper, they arent all that bad, even unedited, and they are both pretty good shows, case close sucks ass.

I seen comercials for Case Closed and thought it was going to be terrible. I dont usualy like animes that look like that. but i watched one of the episodes and cant stop. i wait all day to watch it (i have nothing else to do all day anyway) the plot is kind of stupid, but i like the crime solving stuff. i dont really know why i keep watching. but it isnt that bad.

Yeah is good. This anime has been running for awhile in Japan. Plus there's like 3-4 movies of it

I have been watching Adult swim since its debut I will say this Adult swim was originaly only anime it was bebop, yu yu hakusho pilot canditdate and a few gundam shows, it played anime more uncut then anything else (on basic cable) what I said was that is exactly what adult swim is for, it was orginaly brining anime that was more uncut the cartoon netowrks prgraming. People on toonzone should know that the comedy didnt start until after the anie was played also the way it stands now tha ratio is is about 4:2 anime to comedy.

When are you gonna understand that even the faq for AS saids that is not for anime.

The only anime that Ran fully uncut is Big O and FLCL

I will agree that dual monster when they dual sucks, but it's a pretty funny show, because the voice over ppl say watever they want. anyway this show should just stop showing it, i rather see more gundam shows again, oo i miss gundam, the old stuff was better than this crap.

actually pegasus you are wrong I didnt say uncut I said more uncut then any iother basic cale program (which it is) when you learn to read then maybe you can make an attempt to contradict me. the adult swim you see befoer you today is not what it was origanaly. It runs anime more uncut then any other basic cable programs it has since its first incarnation.

Now it is for showing programs to a more mature audiance i may be wrong but doesnt playing uncut (at least more so then other netwroks) qualify as mature programming. next time you contradict me get your facts straight do your researxh and relize I am not an easy opponent.

I've only seen two episodes of Case Closed, but I already like it quite a bit, though the English voice acting can be better for some characters. To be truthful, I expected less of what I recieved from the show. It's actually quite good and it's got me wanting to see more.
