Title: Ultimate battle
Description: who would win

Teru-chan - October 18, 2004 10:19 AM (GMT)
I rekon bruce lee would kick Jackie's butt. and wipe the floor with him

designman018 - October 18, 2004 07:21 PM (GMT)
ok. well the answer is 100% bruce lee. jackie chan actually doesn't too much kung fu, just enough to show off in movies. bruce lee on the other hand was a true master. they simply don't compare.

Wow I can't believe that some people voted for Jackie Chan! Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want to face him in a fight, and it is true that Jackie has trained for years to do what he does, but what he does is movie kung fu. Try that using chairs and dancing around junk in a real fight and you'd get handled. Bruce Lee was a master, the movies came after he had trained and become master. He didn't just do movie kung fu like Jackie Chan. Jackie does a good job at what he does, obviously, but in a fight Bruce Lee would totally kick ass.

a more reasonable fight: jet li vs. bruce lee

Knux Stravier - October 19, 2004 10:06 PM (GMT)
OR obi-wan vs the guy on the oatmeal box i would pay to see that

Star - October 20, 2004 10:34 AM (GMT)
Whats interesting about that? We all know Obi-Wan would win in a hart beat!

Kamen rider - October 20, 2004 01:07 PM (GMT)
Umm Jackie chan, because he's my fav

designman018 - October 20, 2004 04:08 PM (GMT)

that would be awesome, jet li has some pretty slick skills, it'd be a close call

Pakman2k3 - October 22, 2004 04:00 PM (GMT)
umm one thing jackie chan does know kung-fu alot and even though bruce would win chan would give him a fight atleast for a little bit he used to be bruce lees stunt double for goodness sake.

no. he doesn't kno as much kung fu as you may think. Hes not in bruce lee's league. He may put up a small fight, thats about it.

i had no idea that he was bruces stunt double, i didn't even know he used stunt doubles

designman018 - October 24, 2004 02:27 PM (GMT)
yes he was bruces stunt double. He got his nose broken by bruce when bruce was fooling around with a staff. Just because you know kung fu doesn't mean you can do stunts. keep in mind there are hundreds of different styles of martial arts. styles like shaolin are very mobile and require lots of jumping and stunts. bruce lee probably wasn't shaolin. styles like wudang, you barely move at all... wudang is what the guy in crouching tiger used. notice he moved very fluidly and used his sword to block everything instead of evasive movement.

Teru-chan - October 29, 2004 11:14 AM (GMT)
but not many people are so skilled they invent there own styles and teach them to others, like bruce

Any master (not your typical american town kung fu class teacher) of kung fu can invent his own style. This is done through observation and applying the knowledge they already have. its strength of the mind, not body. Bruce Lee has his limits, besides he wasn't the greatest anyways... Also consider that he is human... he can always make mistakes. Thats why a stunt double is needed, so they won't have to risk the actual person in any way. Almost all kung fu masters are killed by accidents. Houdini, believe it or not, knew a bit of golden elixer kung fu (which allows people to punch you without getting hurt). But when he wasn't prepared, he was seriously injured.

Teru-chan - November 1, 2004 11:48 AM (GMT)
i get what your saying. bruce lee did have his limits. if he was alive today, he would truely be the worlds greatest martial artist with no equal. and i've never even heard of Golden elixer kung fu and that houdini knew kung fu, but if would explain ablot of his abilities.
