Title: Stupidest thing youve done
Teru-chan - November 8, 2004 10:48 AM (GMT)
what is the stupidest thing youve ever done?
me? all i'm going to say is that it involved electricity, and a bucket of water.
suicidal_hamster - November 8, 2004 12:31 PM (GMT)
ok....i'll be straight with this........................i was in the supermarket and i needed the toilet (as usual) so..............................i went in and..............................................................um..........................................................................cameoutwithapieceofbogrollstucktomyshoe.............................
lexus - November 8, 2004 12:37 PM (GMT)
mine involved electric too. when i was on holiday
all the lights were on timers, the kind that you push the button in and when it comes back out, the light goes off.
I tried to make stay on by putting wet toilet roll in it... bad result...

Well I don't know about stupidest, but it was definitely embarassing.
Back when I was in high school I went on a school trip to France. At the time (and I still do) I had very thick hair so it was important that I had a dependable hair dryer to dry it all. I got one of those plug conversion things to that you can use your gadgets in European outlets. We were staying in a very old hotel in southern France, and although the plug adapter worked, and the dryer turned on I guess it just put to much stress on the old wiring since the hairdryer was so powerful, and it blew out the power in the entire building! Everyone staying there knew that it was because of me, it was pretty embarassing and stupid of me.
Probably the stupidest thing I've ever done was the numerous car races and chaces I got into with my friends back when I first got my license. One time my friend and I were racing our cars and we reached over a 100 on a 30 mph speed limit neighborhood. I almost lost control of the car! Luckily nothing bad happened, but I easily could have lost control, and at that speed surely would have died, so yeah I'd call that pretty stupid.
I've also done a lot of dumb stuff with fire. One time my friend and I wanted to see what would happen if we sprayed hairspry out of an aerosol can over a flame from a lighter. Result = homemade blowtorch that almost started a big fire. :akuma:
Teru-chan - November 12, 2004 10:39 AM (GMT)
to elaborate on the stupid thing i did, i was using one of those ancient elctric razors, that you plug in ,right, and there was a bucket full out water next to me on the floor, i dont remember why it was there though, anyway, i nipped my chin and accidentally dropped the electric razor in the bucket and without thinking i went to get it out and copped one hell of a shock, i was nearly killed. and i havent used an electric razor since.

I was curious. Put aluminum in the microwave. *fake cough* I also had a thing for flushing random things down the toilet as a child. ^^; Which was bad when the bathroom flooded.
suicidal_hamster - November 15, 2004 12:28 PM (GMT)
sorry, i had to giggle at the microwave thing...:D
lexus - November 15, 2004 12:34 PM (GMT)

Wow. That's horrible. Both the custard in the CD player AND the flushing of mobile phones.

suicidal_hamster - November 17, 2004 12:32 PM (GMT)
and i'm at school, so the firewall won't let me on it.....what is it?
Teru-chan - November 18, 2004 10:38 AM (GMT)
it doesnt work? well go to www.ebaumsworld.com, in the video section. its a clip of a couple of dickheads who mixed chlorine and alcohol in a bottle and shook it up. it expolded. though the video cuts out after that, its pretty safe to say that the guy who was holding the bottle, got his hand blown off.
lexus - November 18, 2004 12:55 PM (GMT)
woo-hoo! if only Mattie would let me on stuff like that!
Teru-chan - November 19, 2004 10:27 AM (GMT)

I have that movie. Some of the stunts they pulled WERE pretty gross.
Teru-chan - November 30, 2004 10:48 AM (GMT)
escpecially the one with the portable toilet and the garbage truck.
kazuki - November 30, 2004 12:58 PM (GMT)
...? tell me! lex says i'm too young to watch it, so she locks me out of the living room, its beyond me why mattie has a lock on the living room door!
(thats when i'm round there. we dont even have a t.v. at home.)
Teru-chan - December 1, 2004 11:09 AM (GMT)
no TV! man that sucks bigtime!
Another stupid thing i did, years ago, i was in the backyard playing 'spear the basketball' with a garden fork, i was going pretty good for a while until i went to end it, with both hands on the handle i shoved it into the basketball, but the fork bounced back. into my leg. it went in about an inch. it bled like crazy. but the wierd thing is that i didnt feel it go in. it did hurt when the infection kicked in. i had to use crutches for about 2 weeks. thats the stupidest thing ive done. as of yet.

no .t.v does suck.
i get the not feeling it thing, lexus taught me that if a blade's sharp enough, you dont feel a thing until it heals or you die... i dunno how she found out, and i dont think i want to.

To me, if anything cuts my body or breaks my skin, I won't notice right away and it won't hurt at all. But then, once I suddenly notice I'm bleeding and something harmed me, I'll panic and it'll hurt like hell.
I think that's how it is for most people. Kinda like something kicking you in the head to let your know that you're hurt.
Teru-chan - December 2, 2004 10:07 AM (GMT)
its like when you get a needle. most of the time, if you look, you feel it. or it could be that your body knows that its hurt and it doesnt want to say anything.
Next Gen Cowboy - December 2, 2004 11:37 AM (GMT)
Part of the reason this delayed reation occurs is that your body has to send a signal to your brain and it has to respond.
the reason people feel pain is to survive it is a natural reaction so that we know something is wrong. when we dont notice pain until we see it the mind is simply not reconizing somethign is wrong (until of course we see it) this happens with many things if a friend dies we usualy do not know it until we hear it (if they are far away lets say) thats kind of how the body is working at that time.
Teru-chan - December 3, 2004 10:53 AM (GMT)
i noticed it alright. i saw it go into my leg. but i didn't feel any pain. why would that have happened?
