Has anyone seen any of this? You have to watch atleast the first 7 episodes to get a feeling for the animation style. Because if you only watch a few eps and decide you dont like it, you will missout on (in my opinion) one of the best long series (100+eps) animes out there. Also watching it uncut/subtitled is a must because it cuts out all the blood and gore and alot of the humor. Iv seen 124 episodes of it so far (which is all that have been fan-subbed as of now) and are slowly being released (well about one ep a week). They are up to 200 something in japan tho. Even tho I like naruto alot, naruto falls short of this in character development and quality/interesting storyline.

This is defenetly one of the better long shows around, it has grown immesnly in popularity and is good for a fighting show (maybe the second best know of) however I fear that these later episodes may trail off (I havnt seen nearly 124 episodes so I cant say for sure) but it is always a fear of mine.

Well once again i can not agree wit u guys, this anime is not to my liking, i only watch one ep, and i read a few magna's, the base of the story bores but not saying it sucks just saying it aint my kind of anime.

Yeah that fear is understandable. But what makes me like this anime soo muc more is the arcs are so well organized. I dont know what might happen after 130 or so but so far it hasnt dropped of at all and really holds my attention. The only reason I wouldnt watch a whole lot (20+eps) of it in one day is to savor it for the next :P . Sadly, to my knowledge that happens alot (trailing off storyline) to long animes. And I really hope it doesnt happen later on.. It seems you get an anime with a trailing off storyline or just slowly becoming not worth the watch, when there just isnt anything else happening and they are just throwing together filler.

And D12, I have heard alot of people say that, "only watched a few eps and its just not my style". But thats why I was saying you really need to see quite a bit to get a feel for how much they can(and do) do with the animation style, characters, etc. Anyways if ya watch more of it you just might find that you like it.

Well that's good, unlike rounie kenshin where that just went to

Starting : good
Middle : Really kool fight
gettin to the end : ooook..
END : AHHHH CRAP!

glad to hear one piece don't do that.

Agreed, I like kenshin overall. Atleast up to the mummy dude. And the comedy filler wasnt horrible or anything. But later it just seems like they are throwing whatever they can at you.

^Bingo, but hell not all anime's can keep there style, i Like yu yu hakusho alot for a few reasons but y i respect it alot is cuz itz the only long running anime that was playin 112 eps, u must respect that. Anyway good luck to one piece

Ksnshins Kyoto arc (the one with the mummy dude shishio) is one of the best arcs in anime however after that it sucks.

The best arc placement I have ever seen goes to yu yu hakusho, four main ones that are played out so well it makes me cry.

The main problem is that Shishio is the strongest character in the show (outside of kenshins master) and because of this the last 50 or so episodes its just kenshin beating on everyone (like the first episodes)

Get backers would have been the best however the ending trailed off (it is evdent that the creators didnt get the full 52 episodes they wanted and had to cut the last figths short)

One piece (up to ep 120) has about 8-10 arcs ranging from 10-25 episodes each.
If Yu Yu is actually that good maybe I should look into getting it...
Ever seen Hunter X Hunter? Very awesome martial arts anime, and a nice arc setup aswell.

I've been a fan of this for a while I don't like subtitles or it being translated or anything watching it in japanese is more fun then you can pretend you know what they're saying and it looks funnier for some reason >_>. I really have to much time on my hands don't I?

Hunter x is so/so, one piece i hear is very good but it aint my anime, alot of ppl don't like a anime, doesn't mean it sucks, well unless we are talkin about pokemon. :)
