Anyone seen this remake? Its kinda dissapointing... I saw the first one, but this ones story is a bit switched and noone knows eachother from the start like in the orig. The storyline is still pretty good.

Lets see.. Its about a city in the future whose population consists of 50% clones. Its about the police, a conspiracy, a cyborg dude and fighting mechs. Hard to say much more because some of the stuff in 2004 isnt in the orig and idk which is true for the real story.

Well it might be a good watch for you if you like the cell shaded/3d anime look. I didnt find it anything special... Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence's CG blows this anime away and makes it looks like its not supposed to be released in its current form, not to mention GITS has a way better/psycological story line.

In my opinion GITS S.A.C, GITS S.A.C 2nd GIG and the GITS movies are some of the best anime there is over all. Its not an anime for kids tho.
