Title: what is your most memerable moment in an anime

Red Ecks - January 13, 2005 03:54 AM (GMT)
me and a couple of friends were having this discussion and i was woundering what one scene from an anime you would never forget for as long as you live.

Teru-chan - January 13, 2005 10:49 AM (GMT)
in dragonballZ, when vegeta first comes to earth with nappa, when gokus fighting with him and he uses his kaoken X4 -kamehamaha attack. and the ground around him disintergrated and stuff, best attack ever. thats one ill never forget.

Next Gen Cowboy - January 13, 2005 11:14 AM (GMT)
No one has done it yet, but please remember no spoilers.

With that said the single best anime moment is the ending of last exile. The last five minutes may have been the best thing I had ever seen.

Vicious fighting Spike (both times) are incredible. and Knives fighting Vash is also brilliantly done. Bebops ending was extremely thought provoking and revolutionary. In my oppinion thought none of those really compare to the ending of Last Exile.

Edit: Also ALL OF GTO

Amarant - January 18, 2005 12:12 AM (GMT)
Def has to be the death of Makoto Shishio when he cumbusts after he had kicked Kenshin and his gangs butts(not what I wanted to say.) -_-

Elevate - January 18, 2005 04:32 AM (GMT)
Kenshin when he used that special move on burnt dude, awsome
Goku Vs Vegeta
Yusuke vs taguro, WHoa wat a fight
End of Bebop GREAT, y!? Can't tell :P

Those are probly my most meribale now, i will think of more lataa

Amarant - January 18, 2005 07:06 PM (GMT)
Ill also have to add death of Vegeta to Majin Buu pretty memorable

Teru-chan - January 19, 2005 10:38 AM (GMT)
yeah that was pretty awesome, oh and when gohan gos super saiyan at the martial arts tournament. ill never forget that.

Inuyasha1112 - January 20, 2005 07:39 PM (GMT)
i will never forget, the very first inuyasha episode. Kagomes first sit. that was my most memorable moment =D :hypersugar:

Amarant - January 20, 2005 09:16 PM (GMT)
I like the death of Buu too.

Red Ecks - January 21, 2005 12:40 AM (GMT)
i did not like Makoto Shishio's death, he was so powerful that he had the right to die as a resualt of an attack or something, not because he was burnt.

Me and my friend have been arguing over which was better out of

The end of Vandread second stage where they all fight the harvest ships

and

Shinji and Unit 1 going 400% vs angel

Elevate - January 21, 2005 12:47 AM (GMT)
^oh vandreads endin was great, awsome atk, i say vandread by far.

Fallen-wolf - March 19, 2005 01:18 PM (GMT)
umm..wen kai hiwatari battles with brooklyn in beyblade. man,i will never forget that scene. it's way scary

emeraldartemis - March 19, 2005 10:26 PM (GMT)
Oh you boys and your action series.....

Okay for me these are some moments that just popped into my head.

In Demon City Shinjuku when that ghost kid is in the park and the main girl character (can't remember her name) tires to talk to it and then realizes its dead. Then after assuring it it has nothing to fear its spirit passes on. That scene always makes me cry!

The crazy acid trip like scene in Akira when Tetsuo is in the hospital and has that crazy hallucination about the hug teddy bear and car. That scene really FREAKS me out man!

Princess Mononoke where Sen fights Lady Eboshi after sneaking into Iron Town, it doesn't last long but its awesome!

Metropolis where the girl is on the roof in that slummy part of town and all of a sudden this ray of light hits her just right and she look like an angel.

Cowboy Bebop when Spikes fights Vicious in the end of the series, also memorable is when Spike opens the fridge in "Toys in the Attic" and theres that super nasty growing thing in there, that always grosses me out.

And finally when D battles that crazy shape shifter woman in the forest in Bloodlust, and eventually she dies when hit by lightning.

i think the end of Cowboy Bebop was a memerable moment

in haibane renmei i think the crow scene, and the trian scene were both very memerable

Oh you boys and your action series.....

One of my favorite series happens to be "I my me strawberry eggs" I would not call that an action anime in any sense of the word (just picking on you) although if you have not I do suggest you see it, I think it is not only beautifully done (animation, and music wise) but it is also unlike any other show out there.

Also i dont know if you count GTO as an action show but I must say that is my favorite.

Anyway i really made this messege so you would go see I my me.

if you are wondering it is about a teacher, but I highly doubt any of the action fans will enjoy it (teruraku and D12 I suggest you avoid this one it aint your style) but emerald and Apollo (especily Apollo) I think this one is right your ally, perfect for you guys.

The Hybrid Master - April 17, 2005 03:54 PM (GMT)
heres a couple. Cowboy Bebop when Spike goes off to fight that guy with the grey hair... on the stairs walking down them..and the song comes on and it goes higher and higher in the sky. ah what a moment.

Another is when Vegeta works soooo hard to get up to Kakarots level of super saiyan, he gets so mad, he becomes a stronger SS than Kakarot because he became one out of frustration, not out of anger of a lost loved one or something

Thats funny that you should say that, there was a preview for it on my X tv series DVD and I thought "Wow that looks pretty good and quite funny". I guess you really have a knack for picking up on what animes people would like  Now with your recommendation added to my initial interest, I think I will check it out.

ps: Whats up with the odd name? Is there a reason in thw show it has that name, or is it just kinda a random nonesense name?

dacond - April 18, 2005 08:31 PM (GMT)
yah GTO sounds good my friend owns it i thnik. well if she does i will ask it she will let me see it
