it was a rumor that was denied officially by Funimation, it doesnt exsist.

I actually checked DBZ.com and it says the the series was actually supposed to end on Z nut it was his daughter that made GT, :ermm: wierd.

The show was supposed to end on DB, then Akira toryiama made dbz which was supposed to end at the frieza saga, however after it became one of the biggest shows ever he made it continue to the cell saga (which is where he really stopped making it and you can tell by the animtion style) the company took over and he had no part in making DBGT.

He wanted no part of the show after cell he origanally was telling the story of the journy west, however the shows became a massive hit and he kept running with it.

I dont know the exact person that made it, simply that it was not him, he really wanted no part of DB anymore. He was being typecast as the guy who did of dragonball, when in reality he did so much more, he did the artwork for the dragon warrior games, and the art for chrono trigger (which was amazing) he is still doing some awsome things but I fear he will only be remembered for dragonball.

What other animes has he done besides DB?
