I'm by no means a Ranma expert, so I'll let somebody else explain what this show is all about. GENERALLY its an older anime, that is VERY funny. It centers around a guy named Ranma who has an odd curse put on him that everytime he gets wet he turns into a female (a spunky red head girl at that)! The show was a long running hit comedy and thes stories center around Ranma and his crazy fiances (yes I mean two, but thats a long story) and trying to juggle his two identities from them and the adventures that ensue between them and a whole host of very funny supporting characters including other people who have weird curses that make them change into odd things too like little black pigs and very...uh hem...well endowed panda bears. Ranma DVD sets can be found all the time on ebay for usually a pretty good price, pick one up if you're curious, you won't be dissaopinted.

It'll be released on DVD down here pretty soon. I'll finally be able to see it.

I wasnt sure at first if this would be worth getting as its about 30 gigs, but I did, and I found it really funny. Deff worth watching imo. And the japanese voices are really good in this, theres no reason to watch it with eng dub, it ruins the show somewhat.

boring...i didn't find it funny or get but i see alot of ppl do.

yah i have read the manga and seen almost all the anime and i think if you have never hers of ranma 1/2 you should either read the books or see the anime it is a good story and is very funny

yea i've read most of the manga and seen the anime. at times it's really funny and others..... just kinda weird
