This game is straight up awesome. Its a FPS/MMORPG which is VERY rare. And everything that happens in game (shootouts, defense, raids, assasinations, missions etc) are all player handled and started. In many mmorpg there will be missions from npc, in this game there are NO NPC that you actually kill (PURE PvP! yea!) and no NPC that gives missions. The game is divided into factions (Im on the Mercenaries faction meaning my enemy factions are cop/law factions (which try to raid our areas often). If one of our planets or areas need defense or if a high ranking officer thinks some area needs to be rid of law enforcement the ranking officer can MAKE the mission. This is something you see nowhere else. There is 0% usefull NPC interation in this game. But the mass of people who play make up for it. It can render soo many fun situations from breaking into the prison to break out fellow mercs to talking to every one in a certain area and harrassing them to leave or what they are doing with 10 allys to back you up. This game also has alot to do with politics within the game and many other things, such as Mercenaries (shown by there name) are people looking to be payed to assasinate other players without them knowing who. Or to raid an area for another faction or working together for a price to take back the other factions area etc(like yesterday a guy from American Enterprise asked 14 of mercs including me to help them take back one there areas temporarily held by GoM for a payment of 50k each.. much fun). As this game is an MMORPG means, if you want grenades you have to buy them or make them(theres a big mining/production system) if you want guns, ammo, armor, implants, medpacks, drugs etc you buy them or make them. The single downfall of this game is that the learning curve is quite long and the game can be confusing at first, but once you learn it I could almost assure you will have fun. The game is still in devlopment right now so there are bugs ofcourse, the game itself makes up for it. I plan to buy it when it goes retail. If you like PvP and FPS this is a game for you expecially if you like complicated games. If you play I suggest picking merc so we can team up :)
