Resident Evil reinvents itself as the series moves in a terrifying new direction. The only thing old die hard fans will reconize will be the protagonist Leon S. Kennedy who was introduced as a green horn cop in RE 2. Unlike in 2 he isnt facing slow witted zombies, instead he takes on villagers who are actually very intelligent. The game introduces many different things such as new smarter enemies, a behind the back camera for higher movement, and actually vehicles.

The game takes a brilliant new step for survival horror that focuses on gunplay, and truly great cinematic moments. The game takes boss battles to a new level, with stunning enviroments and characters. The weopons are also fun and a breeze to use, overall this game is the best in the series, and is one of the best ever made.

The controls are fashioned beutifully, making it easier to do alot of things. Instead of blatently firing shots off into the darkness and running by enemies to preserve ammo, RE4 has a targeting system that is great, making it extremely simple to target a meanies head, and pop!!! Head shots are brutally bloody too. The enviroments also allow you to interact with them, you can now knock ladders down, and push dressers in front of doorways.

Graphics: 10 :lol:
A sickening level of detail accompany every little object, from doors, homes, to toilets. Bosses face images look so good that it feels like you are watching a movie instead of playing a game. Watching zombies, carrying sticks of dinamite, and yelling to passerbys to help them in your destruction never seemed so real.

Fun Factor: 9 :D
Very fun filled with hours of gameplay, making you want to search and find every little area to find items and gems, You'll want to play it again even after you've beaten it for the second time, the only problem I have with it is that ITS ONLY FOR GAMECUBE, NOOOOO.

I give it 10 in almost every section but a 9 in overall becuz i wish they made it a bit longer, BUT GReAT game and worth the 50 buckz

haven't played it yet :'( , but i think im gonna like the new shooting and screen system they introduced.

More like action. You should get it anyways, this half life 2 and halo 2 are some of the best games out right now. I give it a 9.5 because the president let his daughter dress like that xD
