I just moved to Hollywood California from Aspen Colorado the other day to attend Gnomon College for Visual Arts (its for 3d computer modeling and animation along with alot of other awesome stuff).

Anyone else live around here and if so are you going to check out the anime covention july 1-4 in Anaheim.. it sounds fun and I hear its the biggest anime convention in the US.

It sounds really cool, but I didn't plan on going. No good reason not to I guess, I just kinda think of cons as kinda intimidating, all those super expert fans, and then there me yelling "Fushigi Yuugi ROCKS!" hmmm.... You know what though, I might just go though. I know I would have a lot of fun and learn a lot. My dad is a pilot for Northwest so if I want to travel airline tickets are free so maybe I should go. I'll have to talk to some friends and see if they want to come too, maybe we can take a road trip..... :lol:

I know what you mean by its intimidating... And its all about having an awesome costume. And im not really sure I have the time to make a costume. Never been to a convention before. But I think it would be really fun ither way to check out all the booths, shows, see all the anime fans out there and all there costumes. You should go if you can :)

:( I guess I won't be making it to the con this time around. I just recently found out I have to take a class over again because I got a c- in it and not a c, which is what I needed for it to be considered passing because its in my major. I don't have time at all to take it in the next regular school year, so I must take it this summer! Summer classes blow, but I don't have a choice, so I won't be able to leave town June 14th through August 5th because of this stupid class. If you guys make it to the con though have lots of fun!
