DAAA! I am really excited for this new one! I liked the story line from 10 and again in 10-2 but I am ready for a whole new story. What I have read about it says that it is set in a land called Ivalice. Thats the same name as the mythical land that the FF Tactics for Gameboy is set it in! I hope that is just a coincedence, not that I didn't like that game, but as I mentioned I am ready for a whole new story line, not a continuation of on old one. Sources I checked out say the game is due out in May 2005, which is REALLY soon! :hypersugar: I can't wait to get into it this summer! :lol:

Actually Ivalice was first used for FF Tactcs for the PS (which I am hoping and actually know) will be tied in, not a sequal or even the ame map but some of the ame areas, or similar things.

I never played tactics for the ps1, but I've heard it was one of the really good titles in the ff series, so if they're going off an old game at least they're picking a good one. This summer I also hope to pick up tactics cheap on ebay and play it since I have heard many good things about it.

It is the only game on PS1 that has a better standalone story then Xennogears (in my mind FF7 and a few others are amazing if you know some bible or mythos, but these two can stand alone and be great)

It is an amazing game, and what is cool is that it used to cost 90$ for a used copy but luckily square relized what its fans wanted and released it on greatest hits (in like 2001 3 years after it came out) you could probebly pick up a used greatest hits copy for 10$ if your lucky,
