DBGT - This show breaks all the rules set dfown by Toryiama in the old shows, this would be like someone writing a new lord of the rings and changing all the rules set in the world

Yu-gi-oh/deul masters/ any other show inolving cards or small toys - Wow I do not see how these things get such attention

Pokemon - Come on I think this one is self explanatory

but the worst anime I ever saw...Tekken the movie, could not even write a review because I almost puked every time I thought about it, horrid dub, horrid animation, horrid characters, bad game to movie translation.

i dont count these as anime i agre with dbgt and i havint seen Tekken but i bet it sucks 2

Heres the worst, but first a disclaimer. I am the first to admit that when I don't like a show I don't sit there and watch the whole series. Therefore it could be said I haven't given all of these animes a fair chance, but based on what I have seen here are the ones I dislike, also in no particular order:

-All Dragonball series (especially GT)
-Yu-gi-oh
-Monster Rancher
-All the Gall Force movies (this is going way back, most of you probably aren't aware of them)
-Patlabor 2 (I've had to watch this three times in various Japanese history classes, so apparently is has some important message, but after seeing it all these times I still don't know what the hell is going on, its VERY boring)
-LAIN (ok, I KNOW I haven't given this a fair shot, but everytime I try it seems so boring and random!)
-Digimon (the only half way decent season was the original)

Dude Digimon is a horrible anime. It is by far one of the worst ever made. And how do you like an anime like Naruto witch is more reapeative then The Dragon Ball series is. And the action is by far the most boring.

I like digimon, it's one of the animes i never not like. Naruto is ok, not the best but not the worst. DbZ after frizza is crap. And please don't talk about repeative stuff when you watch flame recca, not that's a horrible anime.

Don't be too upset, I did say that I liked some Digimon. I ended up watching pretty much the whole first season a couple years ago because the little boy I nanny in the summer liked it. It was actually better than it looked, but I just think that it became like Pokemon, the story went on too long leading to weaker plot and characters, and it became merchandise driven. I actually kinda liked the original Pokemon too, but lost interest in it for the same reasons.

Flam of Recca is not reapeative at all. Where are you getting that from.

It's very boring...stupid...and to me all he has is one stupid fire hand...that's wat i think.

Yeah Flame of Recca is not based on a Superly Freakish overwhelming power anime. It has good action without all of that. Anime like DBZ and Naruto are very reapeative and that makes them boring. I liked those kinds of shows when I was littiler though.

Actually Yu Yu is not that super powerful compared to Naruto and DBZ. Plus Yu Yu has a great plot and it is involved around an old Japanese legend.

Oh I am 16. In my age thing it said that I was 14 that is because I just picked any random number.

I know that, Yu Yu is my fav anime by far, just pointing out Yusuke is always so powerful, lol.

I also love Yu Yu I own the whole series in Japanese Subs.

Me too, of course on cd, cuz i didn't have money then, lol, but now i own all the dub on dvd, i love both sub and dub.

I first started watching anime when I was about 6 years old, Akira in about 1992 was the first thing I saw. After that I knew I loved it and was hooked, now I regularly view anime forums, adult swims forums and fan sub group forums, I find these places along with sites like animenewsnetwork, and animenfo are the best places, animenfo has fan reviews and these are great things as everyone has different taste.

Also I have been blessed to always be around a group of people who loved anime and even more blessed because they all have different taste (so I am exposed to a wide range of shows)

My actual info, much of it comes from watching and understanding, alot of it comes from sub groups (they know alot)

But more then anything it comes from regular people, casual viewers I see what alot of people liked, or didnt like (I find things with mixed reviews are usualy the best FLCL and trigun are prime examples) and try and figure out why (no show will have everyone behind it, and no show will have everyone that hates it)

I started watching anime when I was around 7 or 8. The first anime I ever saw was Dragon Ball during the red ribbon saga.

I started around 6 or 7, i watch guyver, loved it, then got into dbz and so on.

i just got to see Naruto i put this 1 on my top 10 list. i recommend Noruto

i also recommend trigun it has good fight scenes also ghost in the shell good story line

If u think Cartoon network version is kick ass u must see it uncut or jap, 10x better. Shaman king is good too, i like it, not as violent but good story, one piece is great as well, if u looking for magna i say try KING of HELL, great magna.
