I got this anime not to long ago and got quickly addicted to it. Its 52 episodes and is based in the future after mankind had to leave earth due to it dieing out and then moving from mars to other planets. At the time it takes place, mankind lives on small colonys on planets that can not support life on the surface(no air, trees etc). Some kids living in these colonys are going out and get caught in a space storm and seperatly from anyone but themselves sent to an unknown area. They crash land on a planet very similar to earth (mankind hadnt seen a livable planet like earth, since earth). They then have to find ways of living with just the shuttle they crashed in and few other things. The planet they landed on has all kinds of creatures and even alien technology.

It reminds me of a cross between that movie The Fly (the characters arent as screwed up tho) and a sci-fi novel called Daybreak Earth : 2056.

I see this all over the bit torrent links but never had any interest, it seems like a solid show for a sci fi fan but its not really up my ally.

That's to bad none of you have seen it. In my opinion it's a must see. Alot of good character development and more importently the messages in it are really good. I would have to say its one of my favorites. Its expecially good if you like sci-fi or adventure genres. I need to find a translated version of the manga somehow.

I'll have to see if Madman's Releasing it Down here, if not i'll try and import it from the US. it somes pretty good.
