I was put onto a new IM system by a Gaia Friend Of Mine, It basically combiines AIM, MSN, Yahoo, IRQ, IRC into one program, you can use them all at once with one program, Trillian. I've just started using it and it's pretty awesome. If you want it, you can get it

trillian is a cool program but it has some flaws, file transer is very annoying with it, and ultimatly it gets annoying because you drop connections more readily and its harder to custamize certain aspects of each program.
I use yahoo, AIM, and msn sepretly now.
A better version of AIM is called DeadAim that is worth downloading trillan is worth getting if you dont do alot of file transfer and you are not on dial up.
Trillans other bad aspect is it combines all your buddy list if someone else signs onto trillan using their name you get their entire buddy list and it gets annoying when 100 people messege you and you have to explain it to them.

i've noticed some of the flaws already, but i havent noticed the buddy list one.

sign on with a new screen name or something and it will combine your buddy list like say I sign on with an old screen name of mine it will add all the buddies on that to my current one, meaning I have 50 new people on my list who I dont know or something similar to that.
It is especialy bad with MSN where they are informed that they are added because then you have to explain to each and everyone instead of ignooring them.
