It is obvious that this forum needs a drinking thread I mean why we dont have one yet boggles the mind.

What do you do in a drinking thread, while you talk about drinking of course

My personal prefrence has recently changed, I have switched from my days of wild turkey (thats bourbon) to the more refined and much more vicious Scotch.

A nice glass of Johnnie Walker with some ice, makes the perfect drink for an bright disucssion with a beautiful lady or the perfect drink to go along with nearly any meal

Im An Aussie, So it would be Bloody Un-Australian of me not to Enjoy Beer. Whether it Be Victoria Bitter, Tooheys, XXXX Gold, Or Some Hahn Premium. I've Tried So much, IchiBan Beer, Coronas, even Heineken. But Sadly No Budweiser. I Would Like To Try It Though. A Cold Stubby of VB is Perfect For When You Watch The Footy, or The Cricket, or Just Chatting with your mates. But When i want to get Wasted, I go For The Spirits, Never Straight though. Bundaberg Rum And Coke Is Perfect, A Case of that, and your Gone.

See I feel unamerican sometimes especialy when drinking scotch (you know scotland and all) and I hate lagars like bud and bush etc so there goes about 90% of amercan beer, but when I wanna feel patriotic I go for the turkey bourbon baby made in kentucky also John Daniels is always a good choice.

I havent got a Tolerance for Straight Spirits, but i have it when its mixed with something.

I don't like drinking straight hard alcohol. On the rare occasions that I do I drink Tequila. I like hard alcohol in mixed drinks though, such as vodka and cranberry, sea breezes, iron butterfiles, and mojitos.

For beer my fav is Guiness, but you can't drink tons of it withougt being a little overwhelmed by how strong and robust a flavor it has. For a beer with my dinner kinda drink I like Heineken, Corona and Miller Lite. On the whole I agree with NGC, I'm not crazy about American beers.

My favorite alchoholic substance of all though is Bailey's Irish Cream. :lol: Yeah I know thats wimpy, but I love it!

As for the irish cream I enjoy it on onccasions when it is mixed with various hard alcohols and in wierd mixes like irish car bombs

An irish car bomb is when you take a pint of guiness dump out 1/3 of it pour in some bailys irish cream and then drop a shot of irish whiskey in it and chug, you have about 10 seconds to get it all down before it curdles and you puke it up instantly

(word to the wise, dont I repeat dont let it curdle because you think you can handle, you cannot, unless downing sour milk is your thing)

Hey, when i take my empties to the local recycle depot, i always find emty coronas with lemon slices in the bottle...whats up with that?

Coronas is an extremely light beer, adding a lemos in it has kind of the same effect that adding a lemon to water has (it gives it a little back ground flavor as well as cuts down on some of the negative flavors) not that corno has that many negative flavors.

My personal prefrence on corona is, I never touch the stuff =p

I cant trust that stuff, no corono, no zima, no smirnoff strawberry flavored matl beverages (and no Boones farm) nothing that taste like some crazy candy that comes in a bottle (that stuff is dangerous in the wrong hands ya know), I am sure though if a nice lady made me a cocktail I would accept but that is an entirely different story.

So you dont drink cocktails? thats too bad. My thinking is that if Its Free, Its all good. But if a woman offered me A Fluffy Duck...no damn way.

I dont make cocktails if a woman offered me one I would take it, I dont buy things that make cocktails, I would say the weakest thing I ever buy (outside of beer and wine for cooking) is probebly 70 proof rum.

Granted some of these cocktails are probebly amazing but I prefer earthy flavors, scotch and bourbon are aged in barrles (charred oak in some cases) this gives them awsome flavors and adds alot to good meals.

I prefer Miller Genuine Draft (if i want just beer)

Rum and Mt.Dew (kinda stingy but still good)

and I repeat Daiquiris are not just for women

I like Strawberry banana,strawberry,watermelon,and lime Daiquiris

Today i tried a Sapproro Brand beer, 5%, and its in the biggest can ive ever seen, its damn huge, twice the size of a normal can. and at 650ml it packs quite a wollop. ive had, 4 already, and i am definatelyt pissed rigt now. its all good.

Fair enough, but since when do Corona's taste like candy in a bottle? And for the record, Corona's taste better with a wedge of lime in them, in my opinion.

In reality thouigh I dont mind em, I am not an elitist or anything it is jusr I enjoy the taste of alcohol especialy the earthy flavors of scotch and bourbon.

Coronoa is probebly one of the best beers ever made, and it doesnt taste like candy (although some people like lime in it =p)

By the way I am not dead nor am I avoiding you, I am simply on the worst interweb ever and spent the past two days tinkering with this stupid computer.

We've all said what we like to drink, but not what we have with it. I mean at a party you just drink, but at home when im Having a home Cooked Roast or something, i prefer a nice High Quality Beer Like a Heinekin, and when i'm watching the footy, i like a bottle of home brew with a bag of chips..i know that sounds a bit cliche, but its better than nothing. lol

Hrrrm I forgot about this here thread. I am at college now and you wanna know something? I drink less here then at home!

I was home on break last week, and me and a friend in 5 days polished off 2 half gallons of jack, 2 bottles of vodka and 2 bottle of cheap whiskey with a 30 rack to wash it all down. That comes out to 4 1/2 fifths and 15 beers in the span of 5 nights when split between u.

We also broke out old record of of finishing a bottle of whiskey in 20 minutes, we killed a bottle in 10 (9 shots a piece in ten minutes)

That's how you get liver damage.

Now think about it rationally drinking can be a very good thing when done in moderation I drank alot when i was home because I was with a good friend, I enjoy my drinking and I can handle it never have I been in trouble nor have I done anything detromental to society (with the possible exception of shortenning my lifespan which may be a bad thing because I wont be around =p)

Other then that I dont do stupid #### I simply drink have fun watch movies, that is fair is it not?
