The one you posted: I like the backround and you did good on blending, in my opinion. The text and font colour sucks, though. Needs a border. 6.5/10
First pic in sig: It's nice. It seems a little bland to me though, kinda boring. Once again, needs a border. 7.5/10 I like gray/silver backrounds.
Second sig pic: I don't have any particular opinions on it. The font is coo'. D:
I've always been fond of smaller height and width for signatures though.
These are not expert opinions, mind you. Just how I personally think about the images. And I'm not too experienced in photoshop either, so I don't have one of those keen eyes for deficiencies and things you could spruce up a bit.
Meaning I don't have that good advice. I think you're on a good start though.
(If no one could tell, I'm on one of my "normal" days)

Good job, expecially for your 3rd day with PS. But if I may say a few things. Im not a fan of abstract backgrounds over foreground pictures, it lowers the cleanliness of it overall, the main graphics should kind of stick out instead of being confused with the background. The pics you chose are very good, you dont want to overwhelm them. A slight abstract overlayed on only the foreground graphic, and noticably different from the background works tho. Also when you use a stroke on text you might want to lower the stroke opacity to 50% or so, so that pure color doesnt stick out more then the main graphics themselves. Also a 1px boarder or so never hurts. Thats all just my opinion :)
