even naruto in chinese sound better! plus haku sounded guy-ish in the chinese one.

in the english one they say, "Na-ur-to" it's so funny! it's like they're having trouble saying one word

You do realize that this one of the best dubs toonami ever had? I have the sub for the first episode, and the script is 98% the same.

Get your facts, children before bashing a well performed dub.

And the Chinese/Japanese language doesn't have the same pronountations as our english does, So Naruto will be pronounced diferent.

Really before going and bashing a dub, Get your FACTS, straight.

The dub has done a Great job so far and Believe it's well done, because Toonzone criticies every lil change and they were all Jumping for joy.

The dub is fine, until you can prove that anything was cut or chance.

I couldn't stand the voices so i only seen about 10 mins of ep 2. I'm sorry naruto sounds like a retard i just can't stand it. He can't say jetsu, by the way he didn't mess that up in the original, point is the DUB itself, the voices are bad. Some animes should be dubbed, trust me i'm one who likes dubs but it's pretty damn bad.

And ill say about the same right back at ya. Dont go saying a dub is really good before you have heard all the characters in japanese. Dubs are not only about translation but also about portraying the characters in the right way. This is why many people dislike this dub. Its just wrong(mainly I am referring to narutos voice). Lately this anime has been going down a sheer cliff when it comes to quality. The last 10+ episodes have been pure crap filler.

This is about how I would consider the flow of quality of this anime. If I were to make a graph of the quality on a -100 to 100 scale based on episodes it would go about like this.

Episode 1-50 quality going from 50-70
Episode 50-97 quality going from 70-100 (with small dips when it hit filler episodes)
Episode 97-120 quality going from 100 to a sheer drop to 0
Episode 120-150 quality going from 0 straight down to -100

But for those of you who are watching the dub, you dont need wor worry about this for a while. Enjoy this anime while its good.

The dub for some anime are good, naruto is simpley not one of them. Try animes with good subs such as scryed or berserk. They fit the voices and good translations my friend.

youv only watched 1 ep?? watch at least 15 ep befor you say how good this is iv seen 1-107 and 130-145.... its not as much as 4saken and maybe D12.. "but watch more subs befor you say its good!!!

I have been reading the Manga, and am also looking into getting the Japanese sub. When I noticed the dub was on Toonami, I watched that instead.

Put simply, I felt violated. Somehow it seemed like Naruto's voice ruined his personallity for me. I was afraid to watch the episodes any further.

I was on the verge of jumping off a three foot bridge into a slow moving stream.

i been watching naruto for quite a while now. it's a great anime but it's getting boring. i mean,they're too slow at moving and stuff.

it seems to be ok to me. some of the VAs are a bit annoying. i've never seen the original version though.
