I'm Revealing some facts about the storm will anime message board story.

All right let's begin.

-It all started on January, I joined a friend of mine forum, And I was a Super mod there. One day I wanted to get a board like him so I looked on the footer for a link to his host. His guess was Conforums, but for some reason I don't understand what Happened I ended up in the proboards website. I looked around and registred and I made a mistake in the registration form and Thinking That it was the Option for my user name that I wanted it to be "GakMon" I actually ended up calling the board Gakmon.

On January 25th, 2003 Gakmon board was created. http://gakmon.proboards13.com
Then I went to my admin panel and fixed it Calling it "The Storm will Anime forums"


I think it had the default colors. It din't had a logo yet. Michael G(later was gonna be known as "Powercoin") Joined the storm will. And few other followed including Lui Amatsu(Those days her username was Amatsu) I was known in those days As Pikayugi.

Then a few members came and the member known as "Spike" became a mod as well he created the logo(I wish I would have saved the logo.) It had Yamiyugi holding a card and some moving text that would fall and join that said "The Storm will Anime forum"

We got till num 30 on members. Then That friend of mine moved his board to Invision free way before I did. then I joined another friend Invision free board. At the beginning I din't wanted to move the storm will but after checking Invision free out.

on March 15th,2003 at 10:00A.M the storm will was officialy moved to IF. I closed the old board and I kept mass emailing the members tellin them to move. some moved some din't.

After awhile I deleted the old board at proboards and things kept on kinda of fine. I added anime pictures,anime music, anime fanfics, Love etc. I changed my name from pikayugi to Azurill during the summer. during july-August The old storm will started to have some bugs and it crashed everybody browsers exept to Powercoin,Gotenks and me.
I had to closed it down because we got to 60 members and it was dead and all reviews were coming badly. I had no choice but to closed it and tell members that i was closing but if I could build a new one they can join. some of them agreed with the idea and

on my first day of college August 13th.2003 The new storm will anime message board was created. Altough I forgot to add the rants forum and the fanfics forum and the love forum(Which I later added. exept the Rants one.)

Hehe, yup yup! I remember that! But I don't remember what was the Rants forum about... And yup! My name was Amatsu... Guess I'm now linked to the Storm Will for life!

And yup, ProBoards sucked sometimes. Sometimes I couldn't get my posties the goody way!

Proboards crashes your browser!?
Im moving my board to Proboards though!!!
And it was because Aimoo (My psycho friends and I want to kill their admin) was putting spyware into our komps!!!
Great....Now itll crash our browser! I would make the main board the one at IF, but Im too dumb to know how to use the admin CP!!!!!

I agree. A rant section would be a perfect place for members to tell others their problems at school and ask for advice. I know that the forum Love covers a bit of that .. but still!! =D That is only one topic. I'll bet that many members are also having problems with school, family, etc. etc. etc. =P

Nope, iF never crashed any of my boards or any other, I'm guessing it was a piece of JavaScript that was accidently left.

Another fact that I want Pegasus/DekaBreak to add is that Storm will is one of the oldest Anime messages boards in Invisionfree. I think we are one of the few still standing.

Standing? yeah...dying? yeah....sad :(

Not really, This isn't the first time Storm will passes through this.

Of the oldest ones is still the most active after the OTAKU

The problem here is that we are no longer under "Anime message boards" on google, So, We may need stronger advertising
