To Have Loved And Lost

Whoever said "it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all" never loved and lost,
I think it is better not to have your heart broken,
If I had never loved I never would have cried,
I would take it all back,
But I can't,
I'm still in love but I wish I wasn't
He hurt me,

If it hadn't happened I wouldn't be reminded of him in everything and dote on him,
While I hide my feelings and diss him hoping to chase these feelings away,
I regret loving him yet I want to be with him,
There is pain and confusion and even anger,
When I look at him I get an icy chill down my spine,
I can't even look him in the eye,
I sit here confused, crying, wondering,
I say it is better never to have loved at all than to have loved and lost.
