Title: Same Sex Marriages?
jokaiba - January 1, 2004 07:09 PM (GMT)
What's you opinion?
Mine : That is their choice and who are we to tell them who they can and cannot date? and if they want to get married then we have no right to say they cant do what they want. Its a free country isn't it?
blkwdw13 - January 1, 2004 07:36 PM (GMT)
I have no problem with it so I think it is fine but the snag for them is the religion aspect of it and all poloticians are religious in one way or another.

They can do whatever they want. There's no reason to prohibit their marriage
Tono_Fyr - January 1, 2004 11:59 PM (GMT)
the thought really creeps me out, but i have no problem with it. here's my take on gay people: just dont' hit on me. if a gay guy hits on me, i swear i will knock his teeth out.

everywhere but Texas :D
i personally say they should be allowed to. thats one of the reasons i hope Al Sharpton becomes the next U.S. president. anything to get rid of Bush.

lol.
agreed but I think I heard Hilary Clinton is running so if she does, I hope she wins cuz excluding the affair with Monica, Clinton did a fairly good job as did Cretian when he did what we wanted in recent situations, Martin sucks.... anyways back to the topic....
RaveMasterharuglory - January 2, 2004 05:04 AM (GMT)
ya,they could do whatever they want. There's no reason to prohibit their marriage

Tono_Fyr - January 3, 2004 12:00 AM (GMT)
if hilary wins, i'll be moving to canada early... that's all i have to say. but like i said, i have no problem with gay people as long as they don't hit on me. and blue, i wouldn't hit on a lesbian anyways...
blkwdw13 - January 3, 2004 07:11 PM (GMT)
I'm with you tono if any from the Clinton family or Gore family wins I'm out of here.
Amithe2nd - January 3, 2004 08:45 PM (GMT)
Anyone but Bush.
Same sex marriages?? The thoughts weirds me out, but I dont see why not. It is a free country, and shouldn't people have the right to happiness??
blkwdw13 - January 3, 2004 10:28 PM (GMT)
Why not Bush he has done more for this country in four years than Clinton ever did in his eight years.
blue-eyes505 - January 4, 2004 12:24 AM (GMT)
Bush deserves to be hung be dick until it rips off
blkwdw13 - January 4, 2004 12:26 AM (GMT)
You obviously aren't old enough to know anything about politics then and how they work.
blue-eyes505 - January 4, 2004 12:37 AM (GMT)
no i believe this because i think it wrong to invade upon another countries rights as a soviergn nation under the U.N charter. esspecally since in the United nations security council Germany, France, and Russia would have all veto'd a war against Saddam
blkwdw13 - January 4, 2004 12:59 AM (GMT)
And why would any of those countries go along with the U.S., Russia was lending their weapons and military vehicles to them but they didn't disapprove of going there either, France and Germany are both pissed at the United States because the U.S. snatched away their world control back in the 40's and the UN wasn't againgst the US going into Iraq it was just how Bush proposed to do it at first that they didn't like and then he change his plan about it all. Is also right to house known terrorist in Iraq which they did but they had a back seat ride because everyone was focusing on Saddam. One last thing the UN has nothing to do with our politics and foreign trade in the US.
blue-eyes505 - January 4, 2004 08:24 PM (GMT)
no the U.N is not involved in American politics bu it serves to prevent war from starting up. as well russia WAS against the Iraq war, thats why they said they would veto it in the security council. as for your allegations that France and Germany voted no because they are pissed at the U.S they are just bullcrap. if Germany and France hated america they wouldn't have been part of Nato with america, and when the Vietnamese/ Korean war (can't remember which, it was the one where the Soviets didn't turn up to vote) was voted on they would've voted no to piss the americans off, but they voted yes. another reason they said no to war is because they know better then anybody what war can do to a country. France was dominated in WWII, Germany was split after WWII, and Russia has been in just about every war in the Centuary (a bit of an exageration)
Lady_Karasu - January 4, 2004 09:51 PM (GMT)
*cough* Off topic, folks.
Screw religion. Give homosexuals the right to marriage. The religions don't have to like it. This is a state, not a church issue.
Trapper, you're coming to Canada? Oh good... ;)

well... yeah. i want to live with joseyko when i turn 18 (that's about 2 1/2 years... sucks, don't it?) i already started scouting colleges.
PikaFlameMon - January 5, 2004 11:00 PM (GMT)
See i think that Bush had to go into Iraq Now i think that Iraq's higher power like Suddam and his sons and so forther before they were captured and dead respecitevly posed a major threat to us in the States like the Terrorism if Suddam was in power i could think there might be more 9/11/01 type things but not much maybe like 3 or so.
FairytaleNightmares - January 5, 2004 11:49 PM (GMT)
they should be able to suffer like the rest of us
blue-eyes505 - January 6, 2004 01:36 AM (GMT)
personally i think the only real reason he went to Iraq was to turn the American publics eye away from the fact that he could not catch Osama Bin Laden. and to the people who have been protesting to have Saddam come back all i can say is this. Keep up the good work. i personally don't agree with any of his policies (besides the fact he's a socialist) but removing him like Bush did is just cruel.
Might i suggest that somone create a new Thread for this as we are getting incredabley off topic
Twilight Angel - January 16, 2004 03:27 AM (GMT)
same sex marriages freak me out a bit but it doesn't bother me too much to where I hate people like that. haters should just leave these people alone their trying to get through life. They shouldn't be harrased for something that they like or are.
