If we get another storm after TD 24, won't that be a record ever since they started to record the storms? (1933?)

Yes,,, in the Atlantic basin for sure... of course that doesn't mean that there weren't more than that in the past.. there have most likely been many unrecorded storms that never made any impact on life as we know it and have never been recorded throughout the Millenia... ;)

Wilma is here and tied the record as we know it. One more named storm and it will will break the record. Will be sort of weird when they start using the Greek Alphabet. What a year this has been.
