Title: Is This A Normal Winter?
Description: seems strange across the country

Hurricane - February 6, 2005 11:22 AM (GMT)
I have been watching the weather for the past few months and it seems that it has had some really extreme ups and downs. Snows have fallen in heavy amounts during one week and then a week later it is raining to beat the band. I was looking at radar this morning and this is what I saw just moments ago.. user posted image

Yeah but here in Portland it has been fairly warm! With only one ice storm earlier January.

It sure seems normal in the NW, but the rest of the country is getting a lot of mixed things this year,, what is driving this strange season???

Lets watch in see if this May makes the third record year for Tornadoe's in history. Its been something else. Maybe the warming oceans???

Could be, now as this storm exits into the Atlantic it could create one heck of a Nor'Easter for Nova Scotia and the NE coast of the US. Temps are going to drop like a lead balloon on top of all that rain they are getting. Ice is beginning to spread across New England this morning..
