My buddies want me to run empire at the next team tournament and naturally I gladly consented :)
No altar because:
-> I hate warrior priests
-> I prefer to have more units of knights to protect cannons and take out enemy's support
-> level 4 wizard gives me much more options to play the game, especially against opponents trying to scrape a draw and dark elves (RoH) and slann (becalming cogitation)
-> altar dies laughably easy to s7 rending stars, destroyer of eternities and star dragon
Anyway, without further ado here's the list:

Mage lord has even up to 9 pd for his personal use thanks to rod, which is amazing considering I have all the lores at my disposal. Level 2 with staff is awesome too if he rolls wall of fire/spirit of the forge/comet/cowers/wolfs hunt/unseen lurker/pit of shades. Casting with 4 dice is huge.
Tomb kings and skaven are my worst enemies but I have fewer deployments so should go first on average. Dwarfs I'm not afraid of, wiped them out to a man last night.

Not much to say really, really hard list and if you loose using it you're doing something wrong :P
Too bad we haven't got a game going in a long while, I've been busy playing age of conan (feckin life consumer).
I'll log on sometime soon tho, I need some help with tweaking my next army, TK ;)
