Take a look and download it. On the back, it talks about other Indy Gt army lists. Does anybody know where these can be found?

That's just the standard back of the book from a warhammer army book.

IT’S HERE! The Indy GT Dwarfs of Chaos Army Book

Below you will find the link to the new Indy GT Dwarfs of Chaos Army
Book, a complete, 92-page Army Book in the Games Workshop tradition.
The book—professionally written, designed, illustrated, and thoroughly
play tested—will be legal for use in participating Independent Grand
Tournaments. As of this writing, the Crossroads, Conflict, Colonial,
Destruction Derby, NEWCC, and War Camp GTs will allow the book as
legal, and we expect the number to grow with the publication of the
book.

About the authors
Written by Kevin Coleman. Kevin has been writing background and rules
for Warhammer for well over a decade with his work appearing in White
Dwarf Magazine, the Games Workshop Website and the Citadel Journal
including such articles as Gnoblars Hordes, the Dark Elf City Garrison
army list, Goblin Ecology, Mighty Champions and more. Kevin has also
worked as a games designer and writer for other games and magazines
including Fleer, Inc.’s customizable card game, Ophidian 2350.

Book design by award-winning graphic artist Matt Birdoff. Matt has
been a professional designer working in the entertainment industry for
over 15 years. His recent works include logos for DC Comics, sports
card designs for Topps, Inc., style guide design for Ringling Bros. &
Barnum and Bailey, The 39 Clues book and card series from Scholastic,
among others.

Additional background material and fiction by Justin Hill and Jarrett
Messing. Justin is the author of the Black Library novel Forged in
Battle (as Justin Hunter). His internationally acclaimed first novel,
The Drink and Dream Teahouse, won the 2003 Geoffrey Faber Memorial
Prize and a 2002 Betty Trask Award, and was banned by the government
in China. It was picked by the Washington Post as one of the Top
Novels of 2001. His second novel, Passing Under Heaven, won the 2005
Somerset Maugham Award and was shortlisted for the Encore Award.

That site doesn't work, know of any others?

Again I am not aware of any other fan produced Indy GT legal lists. Really there are no others currently available (as opposed to fan produced lists of which there are MANY)

That's just the standard back of the book text that they modified to keep it in the same framework as GW's.

I like their magic items. Most don't seem over the top, yet still useful. A very strange combo that I would not expect to see from an actual GW list.

My local tournament scene accepts special characters. Basically, anything GW-approved is tourny-approved except in the biggest tourneys (in which case special characters, rhinox and the likes are NOT ok)

Sadly none approve of the new CD list. I will still make a juggernaut for the hell of it; the simply idea of a demonic siege tower with 10 blunderbussers inside is crazy! I purchased some plastic card in order to make the panels plus some RC car wheels to make the thing seem like it could move across a battlefield. Hopefully I'll be able to play friendly games with the new list; I printed and bound the pages at Bureau en Gros (Staples) just as if I had a "true" army book.

Regarding the balanced magic items, a veteran gamer (who was sort of my mentor) noticed the 75 point banner that gives a 5+ ward to everything and noted that it was slightly underpriced. Would you guys agree? Has anyone ever seen a similar banner/magic item; and if so how many points did it cost (excluding the demon characters that can grant regen or ward saves in their respective units)?

Doesnt WOC have a banner like that?

Doesnt WOC have a banner like that?

Vampire Counts have the Regeneration banner, and a 4+ vs missiles banner, right?

The Dwarfs should have a 5+ ward vs missile banner.

I would say it is fairly reasonably pointed. Anything carrying it won't be moving around at a speed of 14" + possible magic movement after all.
