The list is based off what I normally play, with some additions of Special Characters and the such. I figured I wanted to outplay my opponents at 'Ardboyz, not just overpower them...it worked out well! Looking closely at the list, and based off the 3 Scenarios, I was in great shape!
I tabled my buddy and fellow Daemon player's Army game #1 (tough list), tabled Dark Elves lead by Crone Hellebron game #2, and had a frustrating (but fun) draw game #3 against tough ass Vampire Counts army...I won Overall, $60 in prize support, and now prepare for the Semi-Finals this month!

Your list is very nasty and real good. You can keep your opponents STUCK in combat with ease and win with CR numbers. You also run 3 very good cheap special characters. You also run 5 magical Icons in your list as well. Plus you have three flying units that take to the air. Plus you run a Siren's Song, to take full advantage of your units high CR numbers.
With a good player like you, pushing the models. Some opponents will not know what hit them. The best Lore to stop your list is Lore of Light, but thanks to Sundering Icon that's not a problem either. Your not running a Greater Daemon, but you do not need one to win. [players like you, Brian Johnson and Jordan Braun all win without a greater Daemon]

As GoC said, that is one really good army list. I have to say I would love to face it in a one off friendly game just to see how I would fare against it. But I have to say the most distraughting part of it all is that you have traded your shaggy hide for a glossy hide with swirly colors! :angry: How dare you betray the real children of chaos. I declare a Beast-ade and a Gor-had against the Dark General! He will rue the day he cavorted with those upstart daemons.

GeneralofChaos: Much thanks for the praise! Though I'm not sure I belong in the category of Brian Johnson and Jordan Braun...i'd love to play them someday! In 'Ardboyz, the list is really point denial, hard to kill off all those Daemons, and the Special Characters are just enough to help push me over, without giving up the Static Combat Rez that I rely upon. Skulltaker is ridiculous against Greater Daemons...see my Battle Report on the Daemonic Legions spot...lol...I want to go to Round 2, but sadly my work may be taking me out of town and if so, not sure my 1 day off a week will be that day...ugh!!!

Of the 3 Chaos Armies, Daemons have always been my first and foremost love, since before the Dark 4 existed...then Mortals crept in, loving the Armor and shear hitting power!...but the Children of Chaos have always had a soft spot in my Dark Soul, as the sheer brutish nature with cunning tactics exudes another aspect that is Chaos incarnate! I've be pulling out my Khorne Mino Army from time to time, and stomping poor Vampire Counts into the ground, and Bretonnians, and Lizadmen, but Daemons are a tough shell to crack...think I have it figured out however...I'll keep ya'll posted!
