Here I would put in articles of Kinki Kids when I could find Chinese translations thereof. Again, I don't know most of the terms in Japanese and some Chinese are unfamiliar to me so you would just have to accept some ambiguity as I go along.
Please show some interest in responding because as usual, if no one is commenting, I assume it is not interesting enough and therefore, I would divert my energies towards other artists. :P

The interview is 50 questions about them similar to that of 12 years ago when they were 15 and now they are 27. What changes do they have?

T: eh, this type of interview seems to be in the interview of April 1994 – 50 questions. After 12 years, we answer similar questions. I should say for us it is quite amazing. It seems like we both are tram enthusiasts. (laughs) (Not sure if it is tram or bike).

Q1 What did you eat today?
T: I ate fried noodles that I ate. I added some Korean pickled vegetables, egg yolk and natto.
K: Earlier I just had fast food of natto. It was a take away meal that I had at the studio. (laughs). Let me mention, 12 years ago, Tsuyoshi said that he just ate, “Mexican chicken rice, hamburger patty, milk with tea, milk shake, coconut shaved ice”, right, and he also ate a cheese cake. At that time, we both were very young. (laughs) (This is so true. Koichi likes to fill in conversations for Tsuyoshi just like what the interviewer said in one of the translations I did in Kinki Kids’ Love thread.)
Q2 What books do you usually read?
T: Eh…for example, tropical fish magazine and fish manuals.
K: I don’t read much books. Eh…manga, I only read Jyu Oh Sei. (hahaha…advertising time)
T: At that time I think we replied that we read Jumping Monster (or some manga the name of which I can’t translate exactly). Very cute, we both. (laughs). (Tsu does the filling in too!)
Q3 How do you strengthen yourself?
K: 12 years ago I said, “If you do push ups, every time 30 times and do 3 sets” basically it’s tis type of training. Now it’s not push ups. I want to train my body so that it could adapt to the high energy required for stage work.
T: I would do suitable muscle toning. Earlier I had decided to train my abdomen muscles. In the end I ended up becoming a person with a (rolled stick? Not sure what was said) walking around (I think he meant strolling, shopping).
K: 12 years ago, Tsuyoshi answered, “wearing four wheeled roller skates and rolling back and forth.” You don’t do that anymore?

T: Hey, you remember everything. I even mentioned this. Recently I didn’t touch the skates and of course I didn’t skate. I remember 12 years ago, it was right after a photo shoot and was skating on the road. After skating for a while, I was stopped by the police because the speed was too fast. (laughs). Since then I haven’t skated.
Q4 What is the way to relieve pressure?
T: Now basically I would play the guitar to relieve pressure. Compared to 12 years ago when I said, “write poetry, drawing, listening to music” there isn’t much changes. What about Koichi?
K: in the past I answered, “sleep excessively”. Now? I have to watch F1 races to relieve pressure.
Q5 What did you dream of recently?
K: I can’t remember clearly. But 12 years ago, I seem to have said something quite incredible. “When I was riding an elevator with my mom who I have never been separated from, riding from 18th floor onwards and then it got to 1st floor, I saw the number 1, and thought, I still have 17 floors. I can’t go down.” Then I didn’t manage to get down. Not sure why I would think of that at that time. (laughs)
T: Me too. I can’t remember clearly what dream I have recently.
K: 12 years ago, Tsuyoshi’s answer was, “While deancing in front of the TV camera, just when he was ready to do the last pose, Not sure who put a V shaped letter on my shoulder, it’s (someone) and then on Valentine’s day, received chocolate…that matter.”

Ok, here comes the long overdue article from Wink Up. Hontoni gomen! I was really busy for the whole of last week and the last few days haven't been relaxed either.
I know that's not an excuse, but anyway, here it is:

A: Driving. Driving is still the activity that makes me feeling the happiest. Cars are the only things that will receive my praises. Because they are food for my spiritual being. I survive on them.
Q: When will you feel really anxious?
A: When I want to concentrate on something but I just can’t do it.
Q: What is the advantage of being one of KinKi Kids?
A: Because there are lesser members, therefore the space at backstage is very vast. And there is also no need to fight for food with one another.
Q: If you were to choose an entirely different life, what would it be?
A: A car racer? That is my ultimate hope. As long as it has anything to do with cars, even if it is going to be very tough, I will want to try it. But honestly I want to be a chauffer. Therefore even if I were to be only a car mechanic, I will be thinking “hey, I can take the opportunity to drive a car!” and happily service the car.
Q: How has the year 2000 been for you?
A: A fulfilling year. But it would be better if I could have more time to rest. I’ve been really too busy.

A: I hope my private life would be more fulfilling. Because I have really been too busy, the number of my friends has been decreasing (laughs)!
Q: Would you participate in the human’s first ever trip to Mars?
A: No. I would only go if there is guarantee it is as safe as traveling in a plane. It is the universe afterall, it is impossible to imagine what’s in there.

A: Because I haven’t been resting, my body has been complaining already.
Q: How have you changed the most since the last 3 years?
A: My voicing techniques have been corrected since I participated in Millennium Shock. I realized that my voice is more “expandable” during the soundtrack recording after I practiced the techniques. Therefore now I try using different techniques while completing the things I want to do.
Q: What do you wish the geniuses in the world would come up with?
A: An invention that can remove water stains on glass. It would be ingenious if you could just sit back and watch the stains be removed without doing anything!

A: Composing music makes me forget the time. Wearing shorts in summer and tops with hoods composing music.

A: We are too harmonious! To put it in a nicer way it means we won’t have times when we look like we’re out to kill. This is our style neh!
Q: If you were to choose an entirely different life, what would it be?
A: I want to be a comic writer. This is an occupation I want to take up since young. I would still try if there is a chance now.
Q: How has the year 2000 been for you?
A: I have been very busy for the first half of the year but got more relaxed when it was autumn. Because I am currently working on a drama now, I am starting to miss the time when I was relaxed (laughs).
Q: Please tell us your wish for the year 2001.
A: I want to make friends with different types of people. I feel that to be able to accept a different environment and the excitement a different set of thinking brings is very important if you are living in this world. We only life once, therefore I want to interact with different kinds of people.

A: No, that would be too much of a hassle (laughs)! I don’t have much interest in the universe. I’m too foolish? Why don’t you invite me along neh?

I laugh at Koichi. He does want to be a chauffeur. I seriously think Matchy Kondo should take him under his wings as soon as Koichi retires. :lol:
Love the bit about him wanting a glass stain remover. His mind is really expansive.
He does crave for female attention between the lines. And so that's why he sings so well now. I was listening to D album compared to his voice now and what a world of difference. Even in D album, Tsuyoshi's voice was remarkable but Koichi's voice back then was really young and unsure. :rolleyes:

Heya everyone, thanks for the encouragement there, I really needed it (been feeling a little down these few days, but please ignore.).
I'm determined now to try to contribute as much as I can, not just hang around and leech all the effort of everyone on the boards. As such, I'll try my best to churn out more translations as best as I can.
(On a totally irrelevant note, am currently taking japanese language lessons now, I'm really determine and I promised myself I'll understand what they say one day without the help of any subtitles/translations. But I think it would probably be 10 years down the road by the time I achieve that, LOL. But I WOULD achieve this goal no matter how long it takes or how hard I have to work.

There used to be a site that has it but the owner got pissed off with everyone posting her files without permission so she no longer uploads them. Some clubboxes occasionally have them. I'm basing it off translations only. If I manage to download any new ones, you'll see it at the JE section. ;)

I heard that a very good kinki kids Chinese forum closed just recently by the name with an ending of XQ and people are moaning about not having anywhere to go. The owner I think closed it because not enough people responded to all the hard work she put in, I think, I was reading between the lines anyway, and she had the liveliest Tsuyoshi concert MC reports.
Then many Kinki Kids blogs closed or moved or restricted to friends because the Kinki Kids fans are fighting. Koichi vs Tsuyoshi etc etc. That donnamonya blog webmistress was also angry that people go to her site to leech and don't even bother to say thank you or leave comments. With over 3000 visitors a day, she only had her regular 10-15 friends who comment and when she got angry and blasted at everyone, there would be around 70 responses. I don't blame her. It's heartless for others not to acknowledge the work of those who put so much effort in it.
It's a pity. So if I don't update any of these threads, you know why. :lol: :lol:

So with the reporter gone, Gackt finally had the full attention of Koichi and Gackt asked if Koichi liked going out. Koichi said he likes to stay home and didn't like going out much. "What about Gackt san? You like to go out?" The conversation moved on to if Gackt had someone in mind that he liked. Gackt said he did but the other party didn't know. Koichi was trying not to pry and so said, "It's hard to confess (your love)?" Gackt said at the moment it's a bit difficult. The conversation...went deeper and deeper and Koichi tried to get out of it and finally gave up and asked who was it. Gackt said the person was sitting in front of him.

Tsuyoshi asked why it had to be Gackt. Couldn't it be someone else. Koichi said if it was someone else, no one would know. Alright, alright, Tsuyoshi said. So Gackt it would be. Koichi started barking out orders to make Tsuyoshi imitate Gackt with Kyoko, with other stars, Gackt playing guitar...etc.

This was from Love Love Aishiteru days.
One more story.
Nagase one day was filming and he happened to be in the same area as Koichi. They were both so busy that they hardly had time to meet each other in daily life and today, it was a nice coincidence. Then while eating dinner with the crew, Koichi realized that they were in the same restaurant as Nagase and crew.
After dinner, Nagase went over to ask Koichi if he wanted to go out. Koichi dídn't want to go to the disco because it was too noisy. He didn't want to go to a bar because it was too plain. He didn't want to go movies nor bowling. Quite out of ideas, Nagase asked Koichi what he wanted to do.
Koichi suggested a challenge. To take the short cut through the woods to an entertainer's house to visit the entertainer.
So they did go through the wooded area which was a cemetery. It got darker and creepier and Nagase was right at the heels of Koichi, getting scared. He kept asking Koichi to turn back.
Koichi said no, they were half way through already and if they had turned back, it would take just as much time. Nagase began to feel uncomfortable scaring Koichi gradually too. Then Nagase stopped. His foot stepped on something soft. Koichi felt it too. Hurry ! Koichi called out. Run...
Nagase couldn't run and kept stopping.
What's wrong with you? Koichi asked impatiently.
I got bitten, said Nagase.
Eh?
Mosquitoes.
Can't be. It's only June. There shouldn't be mosquitoes yet.
But I did....ouch, it's itchy.
Then hurry up or you'll get bitten more.

Thank you very much for the DUET translation. So many questions and answers, many of them so, so interesting. The one that is still sticking in my mind is Tsuyoshi's suggestion that Koichi get a dolphin training certificate and Koichi saying he'll be a parking attendant who won't give parking tickets to dolphins and then saying Tsuyoshi should be a weather forecaster because he's always looking at the sky. So funny. Makes me think of their old banter. I also like Tsuyoshi's idea of Koichi as a flying bird, I can definitely see that.

This was excerpted through years of observing KK by a devoted fan. It not only talks of KK love but also their personal attributes and I thought this compare and contrast would be good in this section.
It is very touching. I hope both Koichi fans and Tsuyoshi fans will read both sections because Tsuyoshi mention a lot about Koichi!!!
Tsuyoshi once said the following:
1. You just need to give me some hint and I would be able to recognize you.
2. I can’t leave the house because I might bump into the me who might hurt myself..or the me who might hurt others.
3. Do not beautify the me who lies. To tell the truth , as long as I live on, it is bound to be meaningful. So I don’t have to compare with what others do. As long as I am myself, I would be able to strengthen!

It is very touching. I hope both Koichi fans and Tsuyoshi fans will read both sections because Tsuyoshi mention a lot about Koichi!!!
Tsuyoshi once said the following:

3. “Actually every time I really look forward to rolling down the steps because I could have 3 seconds of rest.”
4. I do not work hard for others to see.
5. dying on the stage – style and consciousness
6. “I believe that the most painful part of life should be bearing everything on your own. If you tell others, not only do you not get it solved, you make the others around you suffer.” (Sigh…poor Koichi!!)
