I have just finished watching F concert and totally enjoyed it.

Here are some screencaps.

The costumes are of course outlandish as usual but it is definitely much more lively than Anniversary concert.

I love the parts when they switched songs and they had to imitate each other. Very funny. Yeah, can't imagine Tsuyoshi dancing Koichi's part and of course...Koichi can't do Dekai Logic.

The best costume got to be the Solitude portion here.

The reason why I started this topic is because there was an extensive interview of the two and since it was subbed, I managed to understand more of the direction they are taking.

Koichi mentioned that this concert was in response to fans request following the beginning of the year concert and so now, they go to other places that they haven't visited in the first round. Basically the concert is the same except adding one new song from the F album to the concert, Eien no BLOODS (永遠のBLOODS).

Koichi said that this concert, they wanted to make it fun and the aim is to make the audience respond to the performance. "It has become once a year opportunity for us two to perform together. In the past, Tsuyoshi san doesn't have to think much about the concert but this time, I hope Tsuyoshi san would apply his mind and give some of his suggestions to the concert." (The idea of switching songs I believe is one of Tsuyoshi's idea.) Kinki Kids songs in general are slower and if we do the normal Kinki Kids songs, it would be a slow and quiet concert.

Tsuyoshi said that he doesn't usually change things around to suit the audience. When he get there, he would make do with whatever response there is. The audience may like to be quiet, then they could enjoy it quietly. They may like to be rowdy/involved and that would be fine.

Tsuyoshi said that he used to enjoy hip hop and other forms of music but more and more he is likes British rock. He also has grown a love for blues and many other types of music. He is the type of person who would like to express what he likes through his music immediately to his fans. He doesn't want to pretend and lie to the fan. As for the cooperation of Kinki Kids, he will go with the flow with whatever comes. But when the opportunity arises, he would be happy to take it on and make good use of it.

Koichi mentioned about how he is not the type of person who could write cute lively songs. He is more prone to write songs with a tinge of sadness and sorrow. In the past, when they first held a concert, they had to sing mostly the senior songs because they haven't even released an album yet and only sang a couple of their own songs. Now that he knows how to write songs, it is more appropriate.

Knowing how to write songs makes a difference. Because of all the programs they go on to and the many musical talent around them, he learnt a lot. He also learnt to play the guitar.

When he write songs, they tend to be sad songs. When he chooses songs to sing in an album, he used to have a resistance towards songs that he knows he couldn't translate no matter how he tries. Now he takes on a bit more and would try it in different ways.

Koichi realized that their solo activities have increased. In their business, not everything that they want would be given to them. Like this concert, if it were not for the fans' request, it would not have happened. "When Tsuyoshi held a solo concert, I also thought what would happen if I hold one too. But this is dependent on the fans."

(Meaning, the fans requested Tsuyoshi for a solo but not him, which makes him feel left out.)

Koichi said, "We started out as Kinki Kids and our fans have made us what we are today. From here, we branch out on our own solo activities and it is a good feel. But it is only made possible by the Kinki Kids fan base. For that, I would continue with Kinki Kids."

(Throughout this long interview, Koichi is the one who seems to want to continue to protect the branding of Kinki Kids.)

Tsuyoshi said, " Koichi is the type of person who likes to perform in front of people. He is an idol. I am the exact opposite of what he is not. Probably because of that, we get along so well together."

The footage shows Hokkaido venue. Tsuyoshi said, "This is huge. I pity those sitting at the very back. But then, it's better because I wouldn't be so nervous."

I love how Koichi wants to protect the name of KinKi Kids!! I also lobve how their differences make them work so well together too!If Koichi met me he would never be able to write another sad song again!!! ever!!!;) ;) :P :love5: :drive1: :flowers1:

Oh my god!!!! So they sung so many of the old ones!! So good!
I really hope before I die I'll be able to hear live "Boku no senaka ni wa hane ga aru" >___> I love that song so much!!!

Hana - December 28, 2006 02:35 PM (GMT)
There was a LOT of raburabu at the Osaka concerts.
If anyone finds fancam for Dec 26, grab it! They were especially cute during Parental Advisory.
In general the MCs were much MUCH better this year than they were last year.
And you know that blue furry hat that Tsuyo has been wearing everywhere these days? He wore it both nights in Osaka and wouldnt take it off no matter how many times Koichi asked him to. Now we're all waiting to see if Tsuyo gives it up at Countdown like he's promised :)

elysia - December 28, 2006 04:35 PM (GMT)
Apparently Koichi can't stop playing his cards... and he's continuing to learn his card magic tricks, so that he could impress his future gf... And he's too cute when he "whines" about not being able to see shooting stars when he went over to Hawaii recently. I thought that's so girly! :P And being a good SHOCK leader, he wanted to get some omiyage for his company, but not knowing which flavour is good, he ended up buying each of a kind!! I thought that was kinda cute too~~ :love4: For me, I think I'll ask the salesperson for the popular ones, instead of getting all. Oh well, Koichi is a prince.

OT: I noticed a new Koichi banner!!! SWEET!!! But the ads below talking about "hair loss solution" is just too piercing to my heart. LOL! Like nooo~~~ it's just too related to Koichi. LOL!!

Thank you everyone for sharing.

Elysia, I read Koichi was playing with cards, but wasn't sure what it was all about and now I understand.

In the report I read on someone's LJ (I hope it's okay to bring it up here), Tsuyoshi told Koichi if Koichi showed the card trick to a girl on her birthday, she would be very happy. Koichi replied, "Then I will do it on April 10th."

LOL

Hana, I want to see the fancam clips, too.

Kaze, I really like that song, too, and I was happy to see FRIENDS on the set list. After watching Wakaba no koro, I want to see/hear them sing that song now.

Here are some things I read about the concert-->
--For the solo performances...Rocketman and 百年ノ恋 (Hyakunen no Koi)... they each stayed on stage while the other sings.
--A lot of interaction between the two when performing Parental Advisory Explicit Content. Koichi and Tsuyoshi sing back to back, while Koichi touches Tsuyoshi's head. Tsuyoshi also leans against Koichi during the song.
--There are a lot of love love moments during MC's. For example, Tsuyoshi wears a hat that Koichi touches and smiles while doing so. They joked that they shouldn't show this kind of affection on stage but only in the dressing room. :D
--They were either talking about card tricks or one of them was showing card tricks but Tsuyoshi said to Koichi..."If you showed a girl this on her birthday she would be happy". To this Koichi replied. "Then I will do it on April 10th." LOL!
--During futari this was displayed. "Our universe started that day and our universe will continue on "
-- 買物ブギー(kaimono bugi), one of the encore songs, was also performed in KinKi Kids Dome F concert ~Fun Fan Forever~.
--Koichi asked Tsuyoshi if he can wear the hat. Tsuyoshi said no because he didn't want to take it off but told Koichi that he could wear it later in the dressing room. I'm not sure if it was the same time but Tsuyoshi suggested that Koichi wear the hat for the Countdown. Koichi replied by saying "It will be on TV then"
--Koichi mentioned that he talked to Matchy san on the phone before the concert started and Matchy san said to tell Tandorichicken☆Tandorichicken that he said Hi.
--They asked the audience what they wanted for the 10th year anniversary. The audience screamed different things but Koichi said he couldn't hear, Tsuyoshi said he heard someone say "Get Married"
--They were talking about age and Koichi said "When my dad was my age he birthed my sister" He didn't realize what he said until after Tsuyoshi asked him a couple of times...
--Koichi said to Tsuyoshi. "Must be nice to wear that kind of outfit". Tsuyoshi told Koichi that it would probably look good on him too. Tsuyoshi took off his vest and Koichi put it on. Tsuyoshi told Koichi "It's cute". Koichi checks himself out on the big screen and then takes it off. Koichi then says that the vest is hot and that his nipples and in between his breast are sweaty.

OK I'll confirm what happened at the Osaka shows:

- The show started with "Mafuyu no Pense." There were hanamichis on both sides of the arena and the boys walked out to the centre, then stepped onto the moving stage to get to the back and worked the full area floor.

- For Rocketman, they were on trolleys coming back from the back, if I remember right. It was a surprise to hear the song, but it was a real crowd pleaser since everyone could shout along to the chorus.

- The Tsuyo hat in question was the blue furry one that he'd been wearing on Shinoi and on MSSL, the one that Koichi liked to rub because of the texture. In the concert Koichi did not like Tsuyo wearing it at all. On the first night he kept asking Tsuyo to take it off. Tsuyo refused, and at the end of the show, Koichi declared that the one great disappointment of the evening was not getting Tsuyo to take off the stupid hat. On the second night Koichi changed tact and kept asking Tsuyo to let him wear the hat (it was obvious that if Tsuyo gave him the hat, Koichi would throw it away or hide it where Tsuyo would never find it). Tsuyo refused again but said maybe Koichi could try it on in the dressing room. He also implied that he might either take it off or let Koichi wear the hat at Countdown. My money is on Koichi wearing the hat...

- There WERE alot of rabu moments in the MC, not least because of the offensive hat which Koichi seemed torn between rubbing and hell bent on getting Tsuyo to take off. From what I can remember, the MC topics included: Tsuyo's dressing like an Okasan Obasan; Joshima Shigeru being bad a telling jokes; Koichi forgetting that it was Christmas day; their recent trip to Hawaii together (in which Tsuyo got obsessed with a special guitar; Koichi went shopping for macadamia nuts; both boys watched shooting stars on the beach and their verenda; and spent the day soaking in the hotel pool).

- Everyone thought Kk were in Hawaii for the calendar shoot but they hinted that it was for a special secret TV project.

- During the song Parental Advisory, Koichi started the rabu by making faces behind Tsuyo while Tsuyo was singing. Then he rubbed up against Tsuyo from behind and rested his chin on Tsuyo's shoulder while singing in his ear. The Osaka Dome went crazy. Tsuyo reacted first by ignoring Koichi (which was quite amusing) and then finally by leaning into Koichi with a smug smile on his face.

- I dont remember the card tricks, but Koichi did talk quite a bit about killing time between shows playing cads with MA.

- Akiyama gets a solo dance segment, and KK takes the piss by telling the audience to scream whooooooooooooooooooooo every time he did a dance step which was kakkoi. The audience did.

- During Futari, they played a video of KK's early bangumi appearances together as well as theor more famous dorama roles (Summer Snow, Rookie etc). Seeing that the song is about how one can never go back to the past, it was rather sad.

Both boys had audio problems in Osaka. On the first night, I think Tsuyo had problems with his ear piece because he kept poking at it and finally just pulled it out. He was uncharacterically flat ALL night :(

On the second night, it was Koichi who struggled. His voice ALWAYS give out by the second half of the show, but he was straining worse than usual even midway. I wish they would move Seppaku no Tsuki higher in the setlist because listening to them kill it each night during the encore was painful. On the 2nd night, Koichi couldnt reach ANY of his notes, and Tsuyo ended up singing almost the entire song by himself. I hope they move the song up for the Tokyo shows because, as much as I liked Tsuyo belting out that song on his own, it'd be nice to hear it as it's meant to be sung!!

Thank you, everyone, for the exciting reports. As I have limited access to Chinese sites at the moment due to the Taiwan earthquake and disruption of China's internet service, I have neither photos nor translations to offer. But I look forward to someone posting some photos. Here is all I found so far. Pls add as they come along.

OMG~ That was the "legendary" red/black suit I see the Japanese fans talking about. *FAINT!* What did they make Koichi wear?!?!? I don't want Koichi to join Kanjani 8 in their Kanfu Fighting promo lah~~~~ But I love his sarasara hair~~ Hope he cut soon though, they will get in the way during SHOCK battle scenes. :P

Their costumes look strange and outlandish most of the time. I am eager to see what Tsuyoshi wears throughout the concert.

Are they both synchronized in their costumes most of the time?

Here's one. I see Tsuyoshi wore that furry hat. Did he have a moustache??? or residue of stubs and facial hair??????

:hair: :hair: They can't do that!!!! (can they?) What's the point then of filming for a DVD if they're going to skip all the good stuff?

I don't mean to sound so disappointed but isn't that one of the reasons why they release these DVD's? For the unlucky fans who can't be there in person to experience the whole show too?

Are you referring to the 30th? Im pretty sure they did sing it.
But then, a lot of us were distracted during that sequence because something was up with Tsuyo. We dont know what it was but he suddenly shut down and sulked for about 3 songs...and it took a bit of work for Koichi to get him to snap out of it :(

And yes there were cameras roaming!

Hana, did you go to the Countdown concert? Tsuyoshi looked tired in that one.

Did Tsuyoshi ever explain why he wore the headgear all the time? Did he wear it that way at every concert? I wonder if he was not satisfied with his haircut.

Was his facial hair the same every day or he kept letting it grow day by day?

Why was he sulking for 3 songs?

No, I decided this year not to stay for Countdown or the Jan 1 show because I have a pressing deadline at work this week and needed to come back.

I didnt mind missing Countdown because ever since the show expanded beyond the original 13 JFriends, they haven't been as good. And last year's show was so disappointing, it wasnt worth the trouble. (Ive seen the clips of this year's and spoken to a couple of friends who were there and everyone agrees that it's the worst it's ever been. And if you're a KK fan...well, you'd be spitting).

I did however, wish I was at today's Jan 1 show. That's always alot of fun because of Koichi's birthday and the extra long MCs. I dont know why Tsuyo's had such mood swings. I know what you mean about being tired at Countdown. But he was genki earlier that day, and I heard he was fine today as well. So hopefully it's nothing serious.

As for the facial hair...it was the same every night. He said in one of the Osaka MCs that Nakai had told him that it's not good to shave too often, and Matchy had told him he looked good with facial hair. So that's why he's been experimenting.

hello everyone, finally back from my trip. gonna post up the concert reports that i had to rack my memory so hard for.. not very good at remembering everything, so this is all i have eh? :) and they DID sing P.A.C.E. for 30th n 31st.. these reports are basically what i wrote in my lj, so haha, it really is cut and paste. sorry to those who already have read what i wrote there :P

30th December

After a 6 year wait, I finally got to watch KinKi Kids 'live'! We went to Kasuga station and walked to Tokyo Dome at 10.20am and thought that hey, there's no crowd. No one's here yet? What a mistake. They were all queued up at the other end, and the line already looped around once! So we stood in line for about 2 hours, and the cold wind was SO terrible. My fingers and feet lost their feeling, and I really wanted to run into some place warm. Took us till 12.35pm to get the queue officially moving and we were done in 10 minutes!

Loaded up on too many gorgeous goods.. even though I initially thought I'd just get the pamphlet and keitai strap, I ended up with that, the clear files, keitai case, necklace and tshirt! Garrr. Even the uchiwas - because they were different from the usual ones. Met up with Susie, Bex and Lisa for a while - nice meeting you girls (Susie, like finally!) and I was so envious of Bex and Lisa having Yoko and Maru do happy things for them!

The concert started almost promptly at 5.40pm. The set list and my comments are as follows (set list taken from usami-chan):
Set List
真冬のパンセ (Mafuyu no Panse) - excellent starting piece, but because of my very bad seat, I wasn't quite into the concert just yet.
雨のMelody (Ame no Melody) - with this familiar song, I did get into the flow of things, even though poor Chihiro had a spoilt pen light, we were waving around like nutters.
ビロードの闇 (Biirodo no Yami) - one of my favourite songs from them, too bad we really were so far that the binoculars didn't hel
Rocketman
Harmony of December
MC - Tsuyoshi and Koichi tried not talking, but the audience still laughed and Tsuyoshi was amused at that. He commented that Michael Jackson just breathed heavily into the microphone and people STILL screamed. Tsuyoshi called Koichi a natural idiot because even though the things that he says aren't meant to be funny, it comes out really funny. Koichi saw spilt water and was like, was it Akiyama who spilt it!? Koichi did a quick dance and mentioned that in Osaka Dome, the stage was so bouncy that when he danced, it looked like he was jerking randomly.
iD -the World of Gimmicks-
藍色の夜風 (Aoiro no Kaze)
星のロマンティカ (Hoshi no Romantica) - didnt know this song so I was a tad out of it..
Get in on - dance was choreographed by Yara (from MA) and Koichi looked REALLY good dancing, and the song sounded better live.
Parental Advisory Explicit Content - another song that I grew to like in 'i album' - very nice!
百年ノ恋 (100nen no Koi) - Koichi disturbed Tsuyo during this song and Tsuyo ruffled his hair while pushing Koichi away! For the first part of this song, I thought MA was Koichi before I realised Koichi was on the stage. Can you tell how far away I was!?
-so young blues-
FRIENDS - Chihiro got quite excited telling me about it being such an old song..
99%LIBERTY (メンバー紹介) (Member Introduction)
MC - this MC was 1/2 an hour long!! even tsuyoshi sighed and said that he realised they rambled too much.. in this MC, Tsuyo talked about his car troubles, that he had a difficult time starting up. Koichi asked if it were ok for him to talk about the reasons and of course he went on to explain why. Koichi was so lazy that he would drive 40m to the convenience store and KinKi stood a rough distance of 40m to show the laughing crowd. Tsuyoshi said that Koichi looked so young but in his heart, he is an uncle. According to Koichi, Johnny expressed surprise when Koichi said he was already 28. Tsuyoshi remarked about how Nagase came into a rehearsal onstage while on the phone and saying 'Yes yes, I'm at a rehearsal now'. TOKIO are like animals, so genki. Tsuyo first came to Tokyo and LEARNT japanese because Kansai people don't use subjects in their speech. Tsuyo's friends saw someone who looked like a celeb and had to control their laughter. Koichi pointed out that Tsuyo had a vest on, and when Tsuyo took it off, he saw his name on it. 'Looks like what my mother would do' he said.
孤独の街角(Kodoku no Machikado)
Black Joke
Love is the mirage... - with his weird blue fuzzy hat, tsuyoshi kinda shushed up the entire dome for his voice alone
futari - the song ended with black and white photos of their past, really apt
硝子の少年 (Garasu no Shonen) - it was SO fun to dance to, and Koichi actually kept playing around with Akiyama for the previous songs
僕の背中には羽根がある (Boku no senaka ni wa hane ga aru)
Anniversary
Love is... ~いつもそこに君がいたから~ (~itsumo soko ni kimi ga ita kara~) - they had a touching 'Thank You' speech each, and by the time this song played, and reading the lyrics, I teared like an idiot.
Night+Flight - a typical KinKi pop song, we were bopping around haha!

Encore
雪白の月 (Seppaku no Tsuki) - Koichi couldn't reach the high parts but it was such an awesome song!
買い物ブギ~たよりにしてまっせ (Kaimono bugi~tayori ni shitemasse) - Koichi was on the roll cart shimmying with Akiyama and another MA member that I couldn't see.
Harmony of December - excellent end to a very excellent show.

We sat at third base in the Tokyo Dome BUT we were RIGHT at the top. Some obaasan kept shouting in her hoarse voice 'KOOOOUCHAAAN' until my sister asked, 'Who's MaChan?' LOL! Didn't expect the seats to be so bad.. but man, this concert rocked SO MUCH. Audrey even said it was way better than what we experienced at K8 and at that concert we were quite near the stage.. I think after it all, I really am so much more into KinKi love than anything else. Tsuyoshi, Koichi, you guys are too good.

31st December

When my friend told me the seats were awesome, I didn't know just how much. There were three glass rolling stages, and our seats tonight were just 5 rows behind the horizontal moving ones and left of centrestage! I waved like a nut as usual whenever the guys came by - hopefully Tsuyo saw the recycled uchiwa.

Gonna start rambling about the concert (mostly their antics because the songs were the same), if I forget anything, maybe Mel wld have more in her update.

The opening talk was longer than yesterday's, and Tsuyo was in a hyper mood and couldn't stop talking. He asked why KinKi never did do the "People in the arena, are you genki?" kinda things. And KinKi tried that individually. Tsuyo called out to the arena, the stands and the third tier. Koichi was like, arena, stands, sono ue, sono ue no hen because he couldn't really differentiate the levels. Koichi also wanted to put his foot up on the sound system, like a real rock star. Tsuyo then said, those things are alive (and later on in the show, when Koichi tries to step on a light, it really moved and he was surprised!) He yammered on and on and in the end, kept plugging in his ear piece and unplugging it, explaining that maybe he shouldn't talk so much. Koichi was like, yeah, so stop talking if not we'll never start. Tsuyoshi didn't take off his fuzzy rabbit-fur hat today, even though he took it off after the 2nd or 3rd song last night. Tsuyoshi showed us his tights - comic characters on it - and he was wearing orange sweatpants and adidas shoes. Koichi decided to look at what he had on under his pants, and when he bent down, he forgot that he was holding a bottle of water and it spilt ON THE MIC! Tsuyo hollered for the staff, and Koichi's like, no no, don't! Tsuyo kept on about how expensive the mics were, and when Koichi looked backstage, he got a shock because 10 staff members were waiting for him there! LOL! Tsuyo tried to mime how Koichi would be after the last song of the concert: Koichi goes backstage, and gets beaten up by the staff. However, while miming that, Tsuyo's hat flies off and he panics to stuff it back on his head. Koichi laughed so hard upon seeing that.

When I say Tsuyo's hyper, he really was! He jumped off the stage where the drumset was - four times in total! Tsuyo was really 自由すぎaccording to a disgruntled Koichi who was trying to host the MC parts. Tsuyo kept walking around the instruments. He played the piano, and the drums! Amusing himself, what a funny guy.. To match up to Tsuyo, while Tsuyo was talking, Koichi suddenly headbutted him! Out of no where!! Tsuyo was so tickled, and during Tsuyo's solo (百年の恋), Koichi came up to him and stroked his fuzzy hat and Tsuyo just smiled - this continued till the end of the verse where Koichi does a 'ta-tara-ta' tap to Tsuyo's hat.

Akiyama was playing with Koichi again, and they were dancing together, and Akiyama took off his jacket partially - but a pity Koichi already walked away laughing. Yara's hair wasn't that nice to see, but MA's Tsuyoshi's hair was very funky! I really, really loved 'Get it on' when it was performed live, and closer this time! Most of the time, Tsuyo was really just focusing on singing, whereas the ever-ready to smile Koichi was bouncing from place to place. AND! Tsuyo did some breakdancing instead of sliding under Koichi's legs, because Koichi slid under his legs for a bit when they were dancing. We were ALL stunned to say the least. And later, Tsuyo complained about his back LOL. Koichi then asked him to DO MORE EXERCISE. Man, when I looked at the PV for Anniversary, I loved Tsuyo so much in there! Tsuyo also said that when he went back to his room, he saw a hugeass blister and asked "どちら様ですか?" to it. LOL!

Koichi also tried to show Tsuyo what Higashiyama asked him to do - turn his arm muscles without waving his hand. Tsuyo couldn't do it, and Koichi took Tsuyo's hand to show him. The girls started screaming at that. The guys were like 'URUSAI!!' haha. In the end, Koichi was like, man, your muscles are too hard! 'futari' and 'Love is..' were so beautifully sung. Koichi managed to sing the high parts in 'Seppaku no Tsuki' so YAY for the guy!! At the end of 'Taiyori shittemasse' song, Koichi grabbed Tsuyo's hand and they headed to the drumset stage and both jumped off together! WOOT!

I enjoyed today more because Tsuyo talked so much. Well, maybe also because the seats were f**king fantastic!! Of course if I could get the front blocks, I'd be like WOO LUCK!! but it's really fantastic enough! It was wonderful meeting Mel, and seeing Samantha for a short bit. Poor girl was frozen because of idiotic people who buy everything at a go.. hehe. KinKi Kids forever!!

Thank you, aphryn, for the lively reports. So Tsuyoshi was enjoying himself at the concert. Good to hear that. How is this concert compared to the previous years? Of all the concerts, do you like this the best?

In terms of their partnership, is this closer than before?

and Hana, do you like this concert this most of all these years?

I dont think this year's concert was the best, but it was better than last year's because the boys interacted better. At the very least they had a plan for the MCs!

But it's definitely a changed relationship, even Koichi's talked about it. We often miss the way they used to be, but I think this new, more mature bond is nice too. They're not close friends, but they like and understand each other now. Which is good enough.

I don't think ths concert was the best, but it being my first KinKi Kids concert - it would definitely be in my memory for a long time to come. I love the interaction they have, but the dome is really so huge for a person to really hope for them to see us.

kimurafan thank you so much for the pics....
If Tsuyo's keep wearing that hat for all gigs and all the times >_< bleah, sometimes he should value his looks a bit more, he would look so good if he stopped wearing things that don't match at all with the rest.... T_T
I like him so much that I try not to judje too much that hat...but....if I could put hand on it....I would burn it XD it's horrible!!!
;_; a Dvd with that hat on is too much, he looks so good with the hairstyle he has now!!! :brokenhearted:
While Koichi looks so good, love especially the look with he red tie!!
Yeah, they look a bit more united now, not as much as the first times but better that last years before this...mh...really look forward for a live dvd!

LOL what about concert good, does Tsuyo has the hat also on uchiwa and posters?

Hana, please elaborate! What did Koichi say?

They are not close friends before? Just partners all these years?????

A bit of news on the Jan 1, 2007 concert. Tsuyoshi was said to be angry that a certain press leaked the news that Music of Life would be sung at the concert. They meant to keep it as a secret to surprise the fans and so he sang it rather sulkily/angrily and left the stage without saying goodbye to the fans leaving Koichi standing on stage alone. It was said that Koichi tried to bring him back but he couldn't. Soon Koichi quickly ended the concert too as scheduled. And this is the birthday celebration one???? I wonder if this would be on the DVD?

  This better not be true. No matter how angry he was about something like this, to do something like that to Koichi on the day of his birthday, well, that ticks me off. January 1 isn't New Year's Day to me....it's Koichi's birthday first.

:faint: I was so upset reading that, I didn't notice some of those photos are of Koichi and his birthday cake. :love4: :love4: He looks so happy!!!! :love4: :love4: :drooling:

From what I heard from friends who were there on Jan 1, this wasnt what happened at all. The leadup to Music of Life was pleasant and even a little sweet. Tsuyo talked about wanting to end on a song that he and Koichi created together because it was the start of their 10th year and also because it was a special day for Koichi. As far as I was told, the boys looked fine during the singing and the fans were happy.

The goodbye was awkward, we suspect, because of a miscommunication between them. I heard Tsuyo ran off the stage as soon as the song ended...but most people who were there believed that he had intended to come out again either with a gag or something for Koichi. But Koichi clearly didnt know why Tsuyo ran off and got flustered, so he just wrapped things quickly, leaving the stage before even the dancers and musicians did. Two different friends who were there said Koichi genuinely looked confused and concerned, and neither of them thought Tsuyo was angry.

If Tsuyo was truly angry about the media leak, he would have just changed the song or done something different. Tsuyo is prone to moodiness, not pettiness, and he certainly wouldnt have taken things out on the fans.

I may not be a frequent visitor here, but I have noticed some anger in various threads/posts here directed at Tsuyo and I dont understand it. We all have favourites but there really is no need to say harsh things about either boy in any circumstances, and especially over rumours.

kimurafan - January 3, 2007 06:44 AM (GMT)
From the sound of this die hard Tsuyo fan who posted it, it doesn't sound like Tsuyo was taking it out on the fans. He was just very upset about the leak. This song I suppose meant something to them.

Anyway, I'm just relating what I read on the web so I thought I would bring it up as I always do. Members are free to react and respond. I don't censure any comments in general.

Hana, you haven't visited the Takeshi and SMAP sections obviously, where the reactions are even more severe... :laughing1: :laughing2:

Sandra,

You know the latest batch of photos you posted... I only set my eyes on one.

Someone has to tell me... do male good friends really behave like this?! :love1: I'm always amazed how they can find the most comfortable positions to settle themselves naturally on each other. LOL!

opps.. this should have gone under the NagasexKoichi topic ah? :love4:

lol, actually I do agree with Hana.. sometimes some comments get a bit carried away with people taking sides. we don't KNOW what each guy thinks, so no matter how much we speculate - it's just that. speculation. so shall we all just chill and enjoy what we've got, and what they've got to present to us? :)

I really don't think Tsuyo would ever take out his temper or mood on Koichi. definitely!

sandra, you make me not want to explore the SMAP and Takeshi section then XD

kimurafan - January 3, 2007 03:59 PM (GMT)
Elysia, I bet this has to do with their lack of girlfriends... :laughing3:

aphryn, yes, tread with caution. Some threads are more explosive than others. Kimura's career news and marriage choice and Takeshi choice of films are the most divisive but in the end, everyone still comes back for more. Other than that, the rest is sedate. Don't miss the fun by avoiding entire sections!

This forum is known for the most free expression of speech. We even have bashing threads in case you haven't visited the important announcement and the Cocolat for thoughts. Poor Rain and Zhang Ziyi. :laughing1: Shu Qi almost made it down there too. :laughing2:
