Well the DMB is coming near me. And i cant decide if i should go see them.

i mean i looove Dave. And Ive never seen them before.. but the town they are playing at is about 2 hours away. I just dont know if its worth it.

What do you guys think?

I think you should go! LoL Not that you care what I think probably. He's coming here two nights in a row but i'm gonna be in NC for a very stupid family reunion type thing. I'm so pissed.

but i don't waste my time on them anymore, cause at least i know the difference.

I think you should go...he's coming very close to me too, and I am toying with the idea.....I have said this before...he has the sexiest raised eyebrows I have ever seen! :P Dave is a close second to John in my opinion!!!

I agree. Dave is second in running. Next to John. I used to freak over Dave .. until John came along. Ive really neglected Dave. So maybe if i go.. it will (in Kendra's words ) Light the fire under my butt!

personally that's just the ONE concert where i wouldn't be caught dead. that and like Andrew W.K. or Aaron Nevelle (sp?) - ya know the guy with the HUGE mole on his face.

I mean im not trying to sound defensive.. but i really want to know.. why you dont like him so much.

i used to LOVE his music when it FIRST came out. he got huge and i jumped OFF the bandwagon.

i'm weird though. cause i tend to or at least used to tend to hate music that was mainstream.
(i know i know...John's mainstream. that's why i said "or at least used to")

you have to keep in mind that until like a year ago i was TOTALLY into the indie-type scene. pretty much ONLY listened to Canadian ROCK.

living so close to the boarder and being able to tune into one of the top 10 most listened to radio stations in THE WORLD (102.1) helped a lot.
for instance...
i was a huge Our Lady Peace fan. UNTIL they got huge.
i was a huge Matthew Good Fan. stopped going to shows when they started playing HUGE festivals. granted his success is ONLY in Canada but that's because he's a jacka** and wouldn't settle for being the opening act to get himself estabilished. (i'm not a fan of festivals to begin with...tooo many sweaty people in a confined area)
I LOVED Sarah McLachlan before ANYONE in the US even had a clue who she was. still love her but you get the clue. that was like 1995.

i am/was more of the type of person to like the new stuff. kinda the cutting edge of music. now that i've gotten older i can appreaciate it all.
that's why it suprised me that i got into john. i used to laugh at his lyrics, make fun of the whole "bubblegum tongue" line. like who's this retard singing about a chick's tongue?! (i'm glad i overcame that! it's all about timing...)

i know that Dave is an amazing musician but i would never go to a show, buy his CD or support him. NOTHING against him at all...
it's just me... ;)
