Title: Love Actually

ruby_red - April 27, 2004 04:30 PM (GMT)
out on video today! i'm planning on buying it at soon as i can get rid of the lazy and get off my arse.

this was definitely one of my favourite new movies. it was funny, it was sad, it was cute...it was everything. and one of the situations in particular (the one about the divorcing family) was exactly what my family went through, so it really hit home. a true bonding experience for my mom and i when we saw it ;)

if you haven't seen this movie, you are soooo missing out

I was just at Target eyeballing it. But I shouldn't spend money right now. Perhaps I'll rent it first to see if I like it enough to own.

i'm constantly stopping in there...

I love Target! They have the cutest stuff. But I had to go, lol I broke the little light that goes in the desk lamp thing in my room. Not that they actually had what I needed. Meh. Still managed to spend $20 though! Funny how that happens.

If we had Media Play here I am sure I'd shop there too! Haha

I just saw it, it was so good, although certain parts were a little embarrassing since I watched it with my Mom. still I loved it, Colin Firth is adorable but why does he always play guys who get dumped?

because the poor guy's been typecast over and over, unfortunately. it really irks me -- i just wish he could get roles that allow him to display other emotions. the best acting i've ever seen of his is the a&e version of 'pride and prejudice' where he played mark darcy. he was amazing.

he also finally gets to stretch his acting muscles in a different way in girl with a pearl earring. that and p&p make me remember why he's a favourite of mine

(which, incidentally, is also the reason for this mini-rant :P)

btw...watched this movie again this afternoon, and watched the deleted scenes. everybody should -- it gives a lot more background info to the movie, especially around liam & sam, and karen, harry & mia.
