the show was called my top eleven so they played his fave 11 songs.

Ok I dunno if they were in any sort of order but here's the order they were in.

1. John Mayer - Clarity (when they played it i HAD to look for bulge shots the whole time, thanks kendra!)

8. Jeff Buckley - Last Goodbye

10. Marvin Gaye - Sexual Healing
11. Natalie Imbruglia - Wrong Impression

haha so yeh they were the songs. it was good to hear the police song coz i never knew it and now i know what he was talking about in "83".

Everytime itd come back from a song super (the host) would say hi your watch my top eleven and we are here with john mayer, and every time he said it johns just sittin on the couch rubbin his thumbs LOL

Anyways heres the notes i took LOL

He was asked if he liked making music videos.....and he heistates, and is like SOMETIMES.

He knew Clarity would be a good clip, he was comfortable with making it, and learned how to relax.

"She's looking great, She's looking great" - about paula abdul, used to watch her when he was in grade 6/7 and had a "vacation of the mind" thinking about her in her short skirt......but said no one remembers the clip and thats why he chose it.

He's still in the 80's

About Coldplay - "I'm writing songs about pillows and he's writing deep songs AARRGGHHH!!!!!"
Says trouble is a "gorgeous song"

He's never thought of writing a duet with Norah because they live on different sides of the usa.
but apparently he cleans her house every monday afternoon LOL

before the police he's like "kids dont get any ideas, this guy does yoga all the time" which i didnt get the reference to yoga..........coz he was just running around candles in the clip

Was asked about the concerts he goes to: He saw elliot Smith in 1998 in Atlanta, was an amazing show, said it was simple what he's doing, and loves the long strong melody
Also saw DMB in 96, was his first "real" show and it was "amazing"

Was having a go about digital camera's again, he was saying something how its better to just watch it because u'll remember it better then any tape.

Says "you just need a microphone and talent"

Would have preferred the grammy version of sexual healing (coz they played it in the ad break of the grammys this year and said EVERYONE payed attention to it) but was cool with the actual clip

talked about how being a tv actor to a singer is a deathly transition but natalie imbruglia has done it, and how she doesnt get enough credit, and that he's met her and thinks shes the most gorgeous person hes ever met. <_<
was talking about how she's 4'9 a legal midget, was saying how u hear 5'6 alot but never 4'9, 4'8 "doesnt make any sense" so it's 4'9 LOLOL


Super said "well i hope you come back to australia" and john goes "I'd love to"

WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!! LOL

when they finished they sorta left the camera's rolling too HAHA and john just wouldnt shut up LOL

oh and he also said "Don't use bandstraw, your vunerable" I dunno what bandstraw is so i dont get it LOL

Oh I forgot to mention

they played naked by JLH straight after it and i was like hmmmmm did they do this on purpose? and 2 songs later they played no such thing :) :)

He's the funniest man alive, let it be known that his song choices were limited- he had to pick faves from the musicmax (the station) video library so don't think he purposely missed out on SRV on purpose...he did'nt.

But yeah, I noticed everything you noticed:D

I'm also looking for someone who taped it? I didnt get to tape and if someone's willing to make me a copy of 'my top eleven with John Mayer' id be happy to pay for the tape, the postage AND extra for time.
