OMG!!! So ok i watch John on the today show, and so my mom is awake and comes down stairs right around the time John was ready to performe. So ok so John is playing bigger then my body and towards the end of the song my mom comes in and sits down and i'm just sitting ther watching it and i'm like all giggle inside caues you know John is playing right now..LOL..so anyway towards the end of the song this is the converstation that took place..

Mom- Sooooo this is HIM uh?(while giving THAT goggly eye look)
Me- What??
Mom- This is that John guy uh..
Me- Yeeeaaaah (while smiling)
Mom- I knew he look farmilar, how could i not regonzied him with all the pictures you got of him on your wall!!!
Me- Oh shut up don't pick on me (Smiling WHILE Blushing)
Mom- (laughs)

THEN OMG, she was actually laughing DURING the interview!!!! :lol: She thought he was cute hahahaha!! I am telling you, after that i was freaking out. It may not be a big deal to you guys, but my mom said John Mayer, you have NOOOOO freaking idea how much that makes me happy. She is the FIRST person i have heard those words John Mayer come out of someone's mouth OTHER then on tv or online!!! And to ACUTALLY talk about him, i mean i meantion him to my dad but i mean that nothing, but dad don't exknowlege i am fan. For my mom to acutally know who i like as a singer, that is just like cool!!!! She didn't say wheather or not she like the song which at that time John started to play Daughter, cause she watch the interview and parts of daughter. But that made me sooo happy!! It don't know it's like for a spilt second me and mom shared something that we never did. It didn't last long but it meant the world to me :lol:

I'm sure more happen but right now i can't think..LOL..

Like i said it may not be a big deal to you but right now it's the best thing in world for me!! :P

I had to DRAG my daughter in to watch it with me. I told her her ticket to see him was in jeopardy unless she screamed right along with me!!! :D

But i thought that was pretty good, that my mom was able to tell that was John. Cause she never listen to his music, i mean if im playing a song of John and shes walks in, then of course she'll hear but of course she doesn't know it's John. But i never talk about him(bad i know) and for her to pick out John like that even though i have pictures of him all over my room, i think that is soo cool. I'm surprise she even said anything, well not really but yeah B)

Well in small talk to my dad i do. But i don't with my mom. Like i said she doesn't listen to John :( mmmm me needs to get her to listen to John some how.

So ok i got 4 cds i can play PLUS 2-3 cds full of extra songs. AND i even got a cd full of radio interview he did. She needs to get the humor part. She got a good taste of it while watching the today show, that was just the beginging, if she only knew the fULL effect of John's humor :lol:

i'm sneaky. sometimes i'll randomize IWO, RFS and HT on the 3-disc player at work, so my mom has to listen to him all day. good stuff.

lmao, this morning, i was up at 8 for the show, which is way earlier than i usually wake up when i'm not in school. so my mom's walking around getting ready for work, and at one point she walks in while john's performing. and she's like, 'ohh. so THAT'S why you're up so early...'

what was his reply to the 'heidi' thing ??? ooo i wanna know!

i'm paraphrasing, but he said something like, "no, we were just friends. but that's the problem -- people think we were together, but we weren't, and i didn't even get to do anything to her!" :P
