My Dad is better, out of the hospital. He had pneumonia and he was in bad shape. The Mom got sick. It's been a hellish time since Easter.

My Dad had a stress test Wed and the test came back abnormal, so he has to have a cardiac cath done. They may have to do a stint to clear a blockage. :(

Anna hasn't really been under stress, could just be hormonal changes, and growing that is making the medicine less effective. Also maybe not getting enough sleep, even though we're always nagging her about that.

Key West was awesome. It is definitely more of a couples kind of place, but we certainly weren't the only family there. And the drive from Miami down through the Keys was spectacular...miles and miles of you, a bridge, and vast ocean. Peace at its finest.

We toured Ernest Hemingway's house, and took a 2 hour glass bottom boat tour that was so much fun. We also went to an aquarium and saw some great rays and sharks. I also went into the original Margaritaville, Sloppy Joe's, and Captain Tony's! What fun!


I feel so bad about not checking in about Anna and your cat! What a friend I am!! :( How is everything????

Things are fine here. We had a nice little funeral for our cat, the kids took it very well, considering we've had that cat their whole lives. Anna goes in the hospital tomorrow (Wed) and will probably stay until Friday. I won't be there the whole time, Tim and I will alternate staying with her. Hope I can talk to you soon, I'll check in whenever I can!

I signed up for two classes in the fall and applied for student loans. The sad thing is because how bad the economy is right now your chance of getting loans is pretty low. If I don't get any I dunno honestly what I'm going to do. I'm seriously in need of money for school. I'm like everyone else right now in this country hurting...hurting bad. And the $#@$#@ gas price is not helping..good god I am putting in nearly 50 bucks a week...50 BUCKS!!! I use to be able to go a full week without filling up on 20 bucks.

So what is our wonderful President doing about our suffering...of course he asked congress too pass a $770 million aid to help OTHER POOR countries. God I hate that fucking guy. I can't wait till he's out office. He is distroying this country. He not only gives us the rebate tax money which is ridoulous, now he's sending OUR money over to poor countries. This war is so far out wrong its not even funny anymore, man I can name a millions things he has completely screwed us over on. I hate that fucking guy did I say that already? :angry:

it really is a bummer to walk into the grocery store and see him on the cover of a magazine for a totally opposite reason than what he should be on the cover for. i mean, remember the good ol' days when his music is what made him a cover man?
sigh. oh well, guess it's what comes with popularity..

The magazines don't really bother me...I don't know why cause I understand why it bothers you guys, I guess I just accept that it comes with popularity, like Hil said.

So, I told Tracy and Steph on aim, but I don't think I posted here about Anna's hospital stay. They wanted to try taking her off the seizure medicine, to see if she still needs it, so they did and she had a big seizure. It wasn't like the kind she used to have, but I think that's cause they took her off the meds cold turkey, and sleep-deprived her. So she's back on the medicine now, and doing fine since she's been home. Someday they'll try taking her off the meds again, but maybe not for a couple years.

Popularity has nothing to do with why John is a poster boy for stakers I said it before and I will say it again. Jessica Simpson is the reason why this is all happening now. I can sit here and name 20 other musicians who are HUGE and never once are in the magazine. If he had NEVER dated her none of this probably would be happening. Sad thing is I thought it would go away after they spilt, I guess I was proven wrong again. He's been popular for years, everyone has know about John, and yet till 2006 he was never once, at least VERY rarely mention in a tabloid magazine. He hooks up with one of the biggest freaks in the media and bam instance "fame". Funny thing is all this time I blamed the media 100 percent, but lets face it, John feeds a lot of shit to the press, and it goes both ways. Hey its his life, career he can do whatever he wants. I don't have to pay attention to it.

2001-2005(part of 06' before JS) Best JM years ever. To me that was the most fun as a fan in following his career. All the tv shows, talk shows..best of all. It was alllllllllllll about the music.

Now if you excuse me I'm tired, and jacked up on Afrin. My allergies are acting up like amy whinehouse on crack.

wow that must be so hard on her :( I can imagine it being very exhausting for who ever has it...I don't know how it is for humans but with my dog he is very tired afterwards. actually he knows how to control himself at this point, and he knows when he is about to have one, so he kind of lets us know.

It was really exhausting for her, but the seizure happened at 4 in the morning so she had a few hours to sleep afterward before the doctors and nurses started to come in to talk to us. She was really sore all over for the rest of the week, even her jaw hurt cause she couldn't open her mouth all the way. But she has no memory of the seizure happening, which the nurse said was typical.

Dogs can tell when a person is about to have a seizure too, so the dog can actually warn the person and they can lay on the floor before the seizure starts so they are less likely to get hurt. I saw that on tv once and thought it was really neat. Dogs are amazing. Yours takes medicine for it's seizures, Dora?

My dog doesn't take medicine for it because it has bad side effects that harm his heart and liver. he doesn't have them as often as he used to, lately its every couple of months, but it sucks, and he is so stubborn after he has it, he absolutely wants to go up the stairs, but he cant because he isnt storng enough and he can get hurt, gah.

I had a nice Mother's Day, thank you! Went out to eat with my parents, so I didn't have to cook :D Anna bought me a flower and decorated the flowerpot. Ben made a card and picked flowers from grandma's house, and he also dug up a dandelion and put it in a pot for me lol

Speaking of KT, I got tickets to see her August 12! All 4 of us are going, I got GA standing tickets, cause it seemed like all the seats were sold out already. I'm happy with them though, cause we can get really close if we're early enough, and Ben wants to be close he says :D

I'm pissed she's coming to Boston, I can't go. So once again I will miss her.

Coldplay is coming to Boston but not till later in the year so I have time to figure that out. But damn it, I wanna see KT. Pearl Jam is coming to Mansfield but I can't go to that either <_<
