So I got a new car yesterday, I loved my old car but it was really time to get a new one, it was starting to break down :( But its got some nice features my old car didn't have. Like a cd player which in my old car, I had to have a portable one hooked up, but now I have it right in the car!! I love it. Power steering, and its got a sun roof! ha



I'm going to get a personal plate when I come up with a name.

I had to go back today and finish up the final paper work on the car and my mom ended up buying a car herself. lol she had her eye on this car yesterday and she loved it but wasn't sure about getting a car. She had the same problem like I did with mine, things are just starting to go. But she had her car paid off and was iffy about having to start over again with payments. But she made a deal with them and it took some back and forth but she ended up getting it ha.

And her ex got a new car also so it was the weekend for buying cars.

Its a 2003 Dodge Stratus. Its actually considered a sports car cause its a 2 door coupe. Which I didn't know 2 doors coupes are considered sports car, it would explain why, not by much, but our insurance is a bit higher. Not to far off from before but it went up. sigh. oh well.

233 a month I'm paying for it. *cries* oh well. I wanted it I suffer lol

But I LOVE the sound in it, and it has as 4 cd disk changer. I can pop in 4 cds at a time. Which is awesome cause some cds, like a lot of my live albums, are 2-3 disk. So If I want to listen to the whole thing, instead of fumbling around between stop lights changing the stupid cds I can just push a button and I'm all set. AND when one cd gets done playing it jumps into the next one, I don't have to do a thing hahaha.

What I also love is that there is controls on the steering wheel itself so I can control the radio/cds all from my wheel to instead of leaning in on the dash board itself. Its just so much easier then my old car. I was driving around with the sun roof down today, it was nice.

I have the controls for the music on the steering wheel in my new van too, it's pretty neat. But no sunroof...oh well :P

Oooh, sweet ride Steph! You'll probably keep that car for a pretty long time because it seems to me that Chrysler products are pretty dependable. My dad bought me a 1998 Plymouth Breeze in 2005...three years and I haven't had a single problem with it! *knock on wood* LOL :D
