So its official Barack Obama is now the democratic nominee and first black man to be in the final two for president. This is so weird to see all this go on, for one thing history would have been made either way by him or Clinton. But honestly, when you've grown up in this country having the thought in your head that someone of color will never run this country, you just accept that. I can't believe Obama kicked Clinton's ass the way he did. No one in politics has ever been able to outdo the Clinton's and stand up to them and its about damn time someone did. Clinton got very nasty during this campaign and did and said a lot of things that she should never done and she was nothing but herself, not for the people. Obama didn't stoop to her level and If anything impressed me about him its that.

So now it comes down to John McCain and Obama. I hate McCain, he's another Bush, he's a war hog, he wants blood and money and that is not what this country needs. We've had 8 years of crap and this country is tired and in need of something new. So looks like my vote goes to Obama.

I think he'll do it, I think he'll actually get elected president, no way are people turning out in record numbers to vote and not get him in. People are tired of this war, and tired of how the republicans fucked this country over, I don't see McCain getting it, I just don't. We will find out in November.
