Had the tv on the Olympics all day the first day, but not caring so much anymore. The US winning the men's swimming relay last night was really exciting though, I did see that before I went to bed!

Some people go nuts over sports, I go fucking INSANE over the Olympics. THESE are my super bowl. My biggest favorite I have been watching and always love, is the gymnastic. I've had my eye of course on the US team but I always love watching every body else especially some of the European countries because some of them like Russia and German are really good in how they deliver there technique. But obviously I am rooting for the home team. I like the swimming stuff but I prefer gymnastic it has a lot more suspense for me in that sport.
I was really impressed by what the girls did but I was BLOWN away by the men's team. Jonathan Horton is a fucking machine on the floor mat and the uneven bars. I've watched the other teams but wow Jonathan NAILED it and got a 15.00 on the even bars which is pretty damn good. Justin and Alexander closed out that round with both getting a 15 point average which astounded me cause not one of them made one mistake. All the other teams did, by either stepping over the line or didn't land without moving. But those 3 guys not one single thing. They have some competition with China who is pretty strong on the mat as well as the uneven bars. I was shocked to see how bad the Japanese were doing, they came in the parallel bars very strong which is what they are known for but they've had it rough.
We have a girl from Mass who is on the gymnastic teams, she's done well to and has gotten a lot of love from up here.
Michael Phelps is one of those athletes you look at and go..holy..shit. I watched him when he competed in Athens and he was stunning then. He's won 3 gold medals so far this year and that is pretty astounding.
I think tonight is the final round for the gymnastic I can't wait but I'm really nervous *bites nails*

Tivo is my best friend. I tape everything and I can fast forward pass the stuff I don't care about.

I don't really care about sports in general, but the Olympics are different. I've loved them since I was a kid. Michael Phleps is pretty amazing, just heard he was from Baltimore yesterday, I didn't know that!

Michael Phelps just won the most Gold medals in history. If he can win all 8 of his races with a Gold win he'll beat out Mark Spitz record for winning the most Gold in one Olympics game.
I'm not a sport person either, but I really do love the gymnastic, I wish they showed them more on tv, that or I don't catch them enough. Sometime they'll show when they have the world championships but I never seem to catch those other. I just love watching them, its hypnotic and I wish I could do something like that.
BTW our men's team..omg they are .HOOOOTTTT!!! I give them all a 10  I'm not kidding, that Justin guy, he took his shirt off after doing his round and I thought I was going die lol I'm really not into buffed up guys sometimes but yeah our team is is good looking.
Our girls team is hot to, its all good looking people that are into sports. lol

I haven't seen any of the gymnastics yet, last few days I haven't had time to watch. I'll have to find out when the men are on again, to see that hotness you speak of

DAMN IT DAMN IT DAMN IT!!!! The girls team came in second in the gymnastic I'm so pissed. We just made so many mistakes on the floor mat round but the one that cost us was Alicia Sacramone(the girl from mass) when she fell flat on her ass which shocked the hell out of everyone including me. She was solid on everything, she was one of the girls I really kept my eye on cause she was one of the strongest on the team, and my jaw dropped. But no matter how much the rest of the country is probably upset you watch her face the rest of the competition and that girl was the most pissed off. She was destroyed you could tell, you could tell she was really trying not to break down, she cried a bit but man I wouldn't want to feel what's feeling right now. But everyone including her did great. Second place is still pretty good.
But to give credit where its due the 12 year old Chinese girls..opps I mean of course 16 year old Chinese girls(pshh) did do a great job.
But tonight is the men's final and they can take home a gold still and I will be watching Justin again..LMAO!

Well the men didn't even get in the top three that sucks big time, but they make mistakes that cost them in the final. At least the girls got silver but you know the ones that fell down are pissed off now. I mean watching the guys faces after it was over, you know what they are thinking. But having watched this whole process I can say they still did an amazing job on both sides.
But tonight the womens individuals gymnastic will begin and I'm very exited at watching Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin they were two very strong team members and I loved watching them during the team competitions and it will be interesting to see now how they compete against each other. They can still win a Gold for themselves which I am hoping, Nastia I wouldn't want to fuck with that girl, she can kick ass. But the need to really pull out some moves to beat the Chinese, they are going up against the 3 year olds and they got some moves so who knows what will happen.
As you can tell I'm really not impressed by the fact that we have underage people playing in the games, its ridiculous but leave it up to the Chinese to cheat there way around. Anyone who watched the fireworks thought those were real, turned out they were fake as well. <_<
